An absolute belter of an episode, well done Drew! Music wise, I'm primarily punk, oi, hardcore and metal, but I gotta say Darryl has been one of the best guests you've had so far. Great stories, great energy and a super nice guy. Keep on rockin' 🤘
I’ve been watching you since day 1 Drew, and I’ve seen hundreds of amazing episodes. This is “the one” though! Such a great interview man! A major shoutout goes to you and the crew!
This is awesome. Been a fan since 1983-84. I once saw Run DMC with Jam Master Jay do a small gig in a loft in Dumbo circa 2000. It was great. They tore it up. A nice surprise with this interview. People always ask me, DMC what does it mean?!
As a kid in the early to mid 80s going back and forth from divorced parents, one in Massachusetts and the other in Red Hook BK, I’d hit Hardcore shows and HipHop shows. A few friends & I from my breakdance & graffiti crews would hit them all. Hardcore & HipHop together were a staple for many of us. For some it was strictly one or the other. But our world had them tied together. For me, DMC slides right in here with all the other legends Drew has on here. Great interview. Oh! Drew & Jimmy need to hit more Delta Bravo sites together. Make it happen
