I hope you plaed more magicraft, this game is sooooo goood. A lot of upgrades can be unlocked after you beat the 4th boss that will immensely change how you play. - 0:43 simultaneous casting +x basically means the wand will cast extra x spell projectile/summon that is EQUIPPED in the wand. so you need to have more than 1 projectile/summon equipped to actively using simultaneous casting. - 4:29 multi-shot will cast a spell 1 extra time(at 0 star). it will work even when you only have 1 spell projectile/summon equipped - 8:52 wand spirit will turn a wand into an auto wand that will cast spells equipped in it. with wand spirit equipped, you cant manually use this wand
The wand spirit is one of the most useful. It will literally target by it self and fire in the max wand capacity for you, for free. Like shooting 2 wands at once. Throw some summons right of it and it will keep spawning them. Or whatever abomination 😂
This. You almost never want to sell/reforge it since it's so useful. As above said; put it into one of your secondary wands (remember that each has its own mana pool) together with spells that compliment your current build and you get a lot stronger.
It’s just not a great idea to make multiple builds, you’re better off making 1 build better. You can easily make a build twice as strong with just a few spells while 2 wands make you at best twice as strong at the cost of double the spells
@@aryn6690 it doesn't drain your current equipped wand's mana. You can easily end up with 2 "builds" both strong as F, or even complimenting each other. You have only so much slots in one wand after all.
@@HaelianThe Grimoires & Wand Spirits only do their thing with valid targets (target dummies or enemies), so testing them while standing in an empty room won't actually show you what they'd do, somewhat unfortunately.
Been watching quite some of your vids, but I am always fascinated how your mind works. It is really interesting, because sometimes you catch these very advanced strategies and synergies, but sometimes you completely miss the most basic mechanics. No hate, I just find it funny to watch! Keep up the good work! Love the content!
Glad to see you playing this, I've been putting many hours into it myself. Love to see more, it's fun to see your progress and process. Plus you know, TH-cam-Dan is just such a nice guy in general!
He Dan, i was thinking since you play a lot of games, smaller and bigger, maybe it would be interestjng to do a monthly (or so) round up of everything you played and what was your favorite experience with a game (could also be a segment for a livestream, and something like a community post on youtube)
Something for me to consider for sure! I'd love to do more projects like this but the truth is that my time is very tied up as is keeping up with the channels. At a minimum, maybe a round up for the end of the year would be nice.
Heyyy, I love your videos and especially enjoy to see you learn about this amazing game. I hope you make a series out of this. And a little tip. When you were confused with the room reward you used a refresh potion which changed it from shop to money. And the centaur miniboss is really hard and with your meta progression you did amazing.
I recommend going for relics as much as you can since you can get money generating relics which are much better in the long run that money rooms! And btw simultaneous casting means, if you put like for example 3 spells on a wand, and the you had something that said simultaneous casting +2, you would then shoot all three spells at once instead of one after the other.
20:03 No, it isn't the MP cost. The Grimoires "take" the next castable spell to their right. Your simulcast volley isn't working with them & the tentacles because the books are the ones that "have" that spell if you want them to cast it - it may be easier to think of it this way, kind of like how post-slots and actual wand slots are largely separate in terms of the yellow-border spell modifiers. Also, the books have their own summon limits individually, so if you give them something like the Skull (which you could only have 1 of), they could *each* summon one of their own. Their downside is that they cast the spell they have any time they have the mp, though they only inherit a % of the mp regen of the wand that summons them in.
Also, as someone else said, you can have books summon in their own books, etc. Each layer of books has their own three summons with their own individual summon limits or spell casts. The downside to that is the former book has to live to summon in its subsequent layer.
Something tells me the fuse spellpart combines two effects into one..that could be rather fancy Also, when testing things, keep in mind a number of things dont trigger without hostiles on the field- best to test such things in a room with dummies
Fuse basically works as a "Delivery" spell. Whatever is to the right of fuse is cast when fuse hits or ends. So you can shoot static spells at opponents. In this run, Fuse would've helped casting the tentacles far from the player, making it easier to hit enemies with the umbilical cords.
@@brunovitoriodossantos7378 Yep, tentacles have no range limits, but they just stick around where you are standing when you cast them, as you said, using fuse is a great way to spread them out around the rooms to benefit from the umbilical effect. Be interesting to see what he gets up to once he's unlock more of the spells. Some of them get pretty crazy.
The grimoire is a bit special. When you put the grimoire , the next spells will be cast by the grimoire instead of you simultaneously casting it. So you're probably better off using the grimoire without simultaneous casting in my opinion. I'm not 100% sure off the top of my head how many spells after the grimoire get linked to the grimoire but at least one, of course, but I think it's the rest of the active spells after it. I hope you're enjoying this super fun game! Lots of fun things have happened for/to me. xD
Simultaneous casting means you cast active spells. Like, put snake and butterfly spells on the wand, then it will use then both at once, instead of one after the other
The reason simultaneus casting didn't work for you is because the grimoires had the tentacles in them. So when you summoned the grimoire it would then summon the hand every once in a while while in combat. It's the main ability of grimoire. Alone it does nothing, but it can summon the spell that is to the right of it without costing you mana and automatically. Meaning you can summon them and let them cast spells (or spawn summons) for you and just stand back.
You can use the autobattler spell on the wand your not using and any spells on that wand get cast automatically and doesn’t affect you using your other wand
Stop enter forge with just 3 or 4 spells, its not worth doing since it takes place over other rooms like coins, max hp or relic, at most you should only enter forge once or twice per act

Do this, but your top game is just always Hades 2 for the next two years.
Grimoire followed by grimoire followed by grimoire followed by disintegration ray would have cast 27 grimmoires each casting a disintegration ray
WHAT
Trickle down deathanomics- downside would be that if the main grimoire dies, they all fall-but hey, nothing a quick recast can't fix
Unless they die before casting the grimoires that casts the disintegration ray... if they die too fast its just a waste of mana...
I'm really happy you are playing Magicraft! Love your channel and love this game!
Hopefully this series has a ton of success ✨

Yes! Honestly one of my favorite soundtracks (and games) in recent memory.
@Shadow_284 it's a great game !

I would have suggested giving the trolls blood to the head of cathulu to keep it living longer.

this game really piqued my interest, hoping you make more play throughs of it and eventually a regular staple in your channel Haelian
laser combined with post slot hit charge is OP
45:40 it wasnt summoning anything because there were no enemies on the screen
i need more
I'd watch more! (Hi Algorithm!)
