      @@tomasdrga8992 im pretty sure the problem was the sub, i dont think the pitch envelope on the sub was sharp enough, and the reverb settings on the guns were a bit off meaning that he should've turned the size down to like 20 or 30 and then turned the decay time to like 70 ms and then turned the mix to dry/wet to around 30 and then turned the diffuse all the way up and the reflect up a bit

    3:30 for those who don't know is the trick Pixel Terror does to their basses. Quoting au5 its basically changing the "phase rotations" in the sound.

    Any plugin or something to do the marauda shot instead of some racks? I don't use ableton

      I mean I didn't really use any racks other than the phat rack (which consists of saturators and otts) but the main disperser percussion sound was almost all layering with minimal post processing, so to answer your question: not really, but the main effect for it was using disperser

    I'm new to all this I don't understand why does adding a bunch of EQ 3's change the transients so dramatically? Is this replicable with Fruity's EQ?

    Can anyone explain what's going on with him copy and pasting EQ3 like 30 times? It didn't look like any of the settings there were changed so what exactly is it doing to get that sound??

      EQ three in ableton has a weird property because it's split up into 3 frequency bands, which causes overlap in the places where it transitions from frequency range to frequency range. As a result of duplicating it over and over, we're amplifying that effect to the point where it changes the phase rotations, causing that weird bubbly disperser sound

      @@NeddieOfficial ahhh that makes perfect sense! I actually tried this yesterday for some sound design and it worked out so well. I grouped them into an effect rack then duplicated the effect racks too. My guitar went from strum to ✨ _strum_ ✨

    Wow Ive never thought about this type of sound design for Marauda's style , great video. I was wondering what the purpose of the eq was at 1:10 , Ive seen Nasko do this too, is it for sound design or to remove mud?

      That's a notch filter. Although it's for sound designing because it drastically changes the sound, but it also removes the mud frequencies from the sub. Hope it helped :)
