There’s something so creepy, so scary, and so real about how this series after multiple seasons has managed to tell truly SCARY ghost stories. True experiences from real people with such respect, care and no need for unnecessary embellishments. This series is truly the gold standard of ghost stories. Bravo! Bravo!
The boyfriend's reaction to ask questions instead of teasing her was commendable. I think some people are gifted in ways that can't be readily explained, but most are not willing to divulge such a gift because of a society that often deems such things with ridicule, skepticism and labels. He reacted better than her parents did.

At the end, the Father says how happy he was he took action and found the group...but he should be the most thankful for his cousin coming to visit and speaking up! If not for her, he would still be clueless about the reality of the situation with his daughter!!!
He knew it ran in the family & still didn’t know what was happening to his daughter & didn’t believe her when she told him. What a stupid man. Infuriating!

Such a sad, sad episode. I'm the parent of little girls and I would be lost if my child was killed in such a tragic way. I'm a vintage photography collector and I've seen Victorian-era post mortem photos of children killed by horses. Trampled, bite infections, thrown, and kicked. It wasn't "common" but it wasn't that uncommon, either. Especially not in those days. And the poor father's spirit having to live for over a century or maybe multiple centuries with the guilt over something that wasn't his fault. I hope the little girl and her father finally found peace.
It’s so sad when parents don’t believe their kids from the get go, Markie had been telling them since 5-6yo it took David’s cousin to tell him that the gift runs in the family with the women. In the end it’s great Markie got the much needed help and validation that she needed

This reminds me of the show GHOST WHISPERER. lol! Melinda's mother never believed her, either. I wish parents would believe the child when told that there's a ghost bothering them! Poor kid! My Mother's mother had the second sight, and could see into the future. She suppressed her gift, because it frightened her. My mother and I can see the spirits that haunt our house. There are two women, and a little girl. Oh yes, there is also a cat ghost. I have felt the cat jump onto my bed, and cuddle down with me. It is rather creepy, but we are used to them. Weird how the truck became older after the encounter with the ghost? At first, the truck looks to be from the early 00s, and after the ghost encounter returning home, the truck appears to be from the early 90s.
Ghosts don’t come back to work on their old trucks. Those are residual hauntings. Just an imprint of time replaying itself. There isn’t actually a ghost there in residuals.
My sister was married to a man in the Military and they traveled my niece was born in Virginia my other sister visited her there I heard stories about it nice country a lot of history to it

I do not envy Markie, it's difficult enough as an empath to not let everything around me overload my emotional state, I can only imagine feeling and seeing spirits... I have only seen two apparitions in my life, and only because they wanted to be seen as i dont see ghosts at will like a psychic or medium would. The one I didn't stay around long enough to know who or what it was, just that I looked at it long enough to realize it wasn't in my head, the other... well the other one was a demonic entity, the feeling of dread and agony, physical agony, as it turned it's head and looked directly at me... still makes me ancy to this day, but it also brought me to making my own paranormal group directed at demonic and violent hauntings.

Why don’t people just stop and listen to her, why would she go through all this just to tell a lie, you investigate it, you must have an open mind , try cleansing and bless the house first , if that doesn’t work bring the experts in .

Some parents can be so dismissive and minimize these things as "she's just a teenager" just to avoid dealing with reality. It's terrible!!!!
