  • You honestly can find everything in Singapore! You just have to find it in the right places. My obsession with burrata is a bit much, I know.

    Unfortunately items with a short shelf life (e.g., meats, milk) from around the world cost a lot more because they have to be flown in. Even cereals, cookies and granola bars from the US cost twice as much in Singapore. So i purchase more when they're on sale.

    back in the day this was a stronghold for triads. my gradfather used to stay around Yuan Ching Rd and this area holds very pleasant memories for me

      @@TheFangGirl there are many stories in those streets at Tiong Baharu..my mom who is 91 now.. told me just after the Japanese invaded she peered out the window and saw japanese soliders clubbing a British POW..as a child i had seen gang clashes around Tiong Bahru market..sometimes old timers like us feel sad to see the place we are so familiar change so much..

    Try foodie market at Outram road you get good price for Tomahawk and Burrata….

    Love your videos! Have you tried going to a wet market yet? Theres a great one in Chinatown. Probably won’t have burrata there :p but it’s a fun experience.
