Interesting take on a bad future, it perfectly contrasts with the colourful aura of the present, it makes the stakes seem more higher if sonic doesn’t stop this from happening and fix the past

Blizzard Bedlam BF- Heatwave Hell: The place hasn't looked so holly nor jolly ever since Eggman and the Temporacle decided to be naughty and turned it into a coal refinery, and then abandoned said coal refinery after just a couple months of operation. Every trace of snow has either been melted away by the intense flames or used up in hydrothermal steam engines. The poles and trees have been replaced with tall smokestacks that pump smog into the air, blocking out every single star in the sky. What's worse is that you can't even see the Aurora Borealis anymore, and the smog's made the place nigh unbreathable for anyone without a Hydro Shield, so you gotta be quick so you don't asphyxiate...
"Going into into the bad future, Sonic was sweating, it turns out, there are buttons to cool down the place so they won't lose rings and burn to a crisp, Sonic sighed as he realized and said, *God it's Oil Ocean all over again!"*

It was a robotic Santa, a clear reference to the AoStH (Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog) episode "Christmas Blast" It then turns out has been kidnapped by Temporacle as he is forced to watch the entirety of North Pole. But how did Santa Claus got kidnapped with all his army of elfs, reindeers and snowmen with terrain advantage?? Simple, Temporacle used a flamethrower. It melts snowmen, burns down the wooden weapons from the elves and scare away the reindeers and polar bears. Then Temporacle turned the entire pinetree forest into a coal factory. Temporacle eats a burger made out of reindeer meat and bread from poor people, cooked within coal from the biggest pinetree in Santa's home, right in front of Santa.

One of my favorites you made, and the improvements are a joy. I think I liked the guitar at 0:29 in the original more, though. It sounded rougher, or more 'dirty' in the old version which I think fit well.
Ay, Bad Future, that’s..the one I was looking the most forward to. The background looks really cool, I was curious how the new background would corrupt the stuff in the Present, but it makes sense that none of it is really returning, since the future is so corrupted that everything from the Present has been replaced. Although I would’ve loved to see those striped structures with the floating spikes above them get some sort of evil appearance in the Bad Future. As for the music, I respect it a lot, it sounds great, and a lot higher quality than the original, but there’s a problem I have with it. The song just..doesn’t give me that vibe that other Bad Futures do. I find that bad futures, above going hard, are good because they have that intimidation factor. Whether it’s because the song is bleak and empty-sounding, like with Collision Chaos (especially that sick guitar, god damn it makes you feel alone and afraid in this empty and evil future), or it’s completely chaotic and terrifying like with Palmtree Panic. Even in this game, Quartz Quadrant BF Inside captures that intense, chaotic nature, QQ Outside and Metropolis BF capture those really empty feeling, almost tragic landscapes. Blizzard Bedlam does have some good, like the pianos are pretty good, and the guitar...has the same exact notes as the Present and it’s just. Not intimidating. They weren’t intimidating in the other songs and they aren’t in this one. Guitar does not equal scary. Also, the voice samples make it even worse. I mean the other two Bad Future songs in the game barely needed them, and they shouldn’t have them. Voice samples, to me, make songs more...lively and filled with gusto. Which songs like this probably shouldn’t have because it’s the future where everything is dead. Even if they did use voice samples, like with QQ Inside, they were a lot more subtle, only really playing after the song was cooling down and not sounding very lively at all. Just quick little “uh”s before the song starts back up. But this song has an abundance of voice samples and none of them make the experience any less of a song I should be taking seriously but just can’t. Hell, it uses the same ones as in the Present, which...maybe if they were slowed down like with Palmtree Panic, or if the background actually had resemblance to the Present, it might work, but it literally does not and they don’t really mix well because of it. You can try to argue that this song is a lot like Stardust Speedway BF too if you want, but hot take: that song sucks as a Bad Future song, it hits the exact same problems as this song and does it even worse, the sheer amount of voice samples, most of which don’t fit, some of which being from the Present for that matter, the exact same leitmotif with no interesting changes in the notes, it’s a decent Metal Sonic race theme, but that’s all it’ll ever be. Fight me. I don’t want to be so critical over this, cuz I mean at the end of the day it’s still a single song in an OST, and a pretty good song that does its location some justice for that matter, but like...not very much. Also I write a fuckton of the good things I think of individual songs too, so writing the bad. Honestly my passion for this project is..a lot higher than it should be tbh, but it’s such a good conceptual love letter to the classic games and I want the best for it (even if it’s my own personal opinions), I doubt anyone even reads these borderline reviews anyway lmao Anyways, that’s about it. Ay, Bad Future, that’s..the one I was looking the most forward to. The background looks really cool, I was curious how the new background would corrupt the stuff in the Present, but it makes sense that none of it is really returning, since the future is so corrupted that everything from the Present has been replaced.
