Welcome to China, hope you enjoyed your stay our country not that much place accept Visa/Master/Amex probably because protectionism and prevent ppl taxes evasion as well ty for elaborating transit Visa, really nice of you, I appreciate it
It was actually very simple. Make sure you're on the list of countries that can apply, but if you are then you just follow the signs to the line, fill out the right paperwork and you're in. We did it twice and it was a very simple process both times, no hassle or hidden paperwork or anything. It did take a little while though, probably because we came in very late both times and there weren't many immigration officers.
@@michaelandyemisiis it alright if how I ask how long did the whole process take? I’m sort of in a rush of time when I land in Shanghai, so I want the least amount of time being spent on the transit visa as possible 🙏🏼
@@wazzacai After landing, it takes maybe 10--20 minutes to get up to the counter. We arrived late at night, so there were only two gate agents. The first time it took about 2 hours to get out of the airport, the second time it took an hour since we knew what to do. If your transit is only a few hours, it wont be possible to get the visa in time, but if you have half a day, don't worry because the high speed train takes you right from the airport into the city and connects to a metro line.
Yes, because it must be a transfer to get into the city, you always have to pick up your baggage and recheck it. There is nowhere to leave baggage at the airport.

@@michaelandyemisiHi. Is the booth open at past 1 AM? That’s the flight arrival I’m thinking to book.
@@maantewt7762 As far as I am aware the immigration desk it always opened, generally it is like that in every country.

Did u have to claim ur baggage and check it in again?

@@michaelandyemisi thank u!
what airlines did you guys fly
We took China Eastern Airlines. We had a great experience, especially for a budget airline.
I have to eat soybean milk and fried dough sticks for breakfast.
We found it very delicious :)
