The furniture store was a Sams Club that closed when they built another location at Golden Ring. Cool fact, it was used as the interior sets for the TV series Homicide, life on the street and The Wire. The restaurant was a Roy Rogers.

Just in the pass couple of weeks the whole thing has been leveled to the ground. The only thing left is the Furniture Store.

This used to be my favorite in the past - I can't believe it's gone.

The furniture store was Macro then it was Sam's Club the restaurant was Roy Rogers and the Ames was originally to be a Zayres but by the time it opened Ames had liquidated the Zayres stores it acquire. Everyone always questioned why they was two Ames stores so close together the other one was in Esstpoint mall where Gabe's is now. I worked at that Ames for 7 years

That restaurant used to be Hardee's restaurant.

Actually that place was never a Walmart, it was always a ware house store. When Diamond Point Plaza first opened up it was a store called Macro.

Hi Again Sal, surprise ! surprise! You can never really know where I will turn up next, You were so friendly earlier, that I thought that I would check you out, and perhaps get to know you better, I get the idea that while you are in your Mall search, you are also a Musician! what kind?.. I take it, that you are not all that fond of flea markets, I think that sometimes they can be pretty neat, besides, Peoples junk, is someone else's treasures. I am somewhat of a booka holic, so I have visited a lot of flea markets, most often, the prices are right, and besides, you never know what you will find. I have come across some real treasures!..You take care Sal, nice going along with you, I will join up with you again sometime, You are an interesting Guy!

The first place seems like the Plano (TX) Market Square Mall which has only one tenant now, an antique mall. It's depressing. That Ames is amazing.

One big flea market. Chucky Cheese could not have survived next to that moldy, disgusting Ames.

Hey man I love that place...it’s just super sketchy, which is what draws me to it. I’ll come visit you one Saturday to check your stuff out.

Hey thanks! This livestream was a hot mess...the cell reception was messing around with the frame rate, and I’ll be going back to film this place again for this channel. Thanks for watching!

Anytime! I feel like a celebrity that you replied! I live outside Phila, and our mall is King of Prussia...2nd largest to Mall of America. KOP is thriving and robust and although it's mall I grew up with, it's changed a lot. But it's still my mall, so I'm happy it does so well. I think when I see your vids, I can't help but feel a little sad...Everything changes, but to see these abandoned places, reminders of another time...can be a bit sad Hope that makes sense! Thanks again! Keep up the great work!

There are so many places like this, esp in Asian communities...large-scale businesses or large spaces that close, and some random furniture place pops up in its place. Although this is def my first time seeing a Sam's Club space being repurposed like this.

They have an outside flea market every weekend weather permitting other than that everything’s closed other than I believe the furniture store. The only time anyone’s there is for the flea market mom-fri you won’t see any cars out there. Thanks for doing this review I definitely try to go to this place very weekend.
