In Puzzle Mode Story, this mode is the hardest I've ever done when I was a child. I didn't even complete the whole story mode. I play the game on the computer, Windows, back in around 2004, 05, or 06. Sadly, I don't have the game with me. This game is my No.1 favourite because of the soundtrack, characters (especially Bub and Bob, the little bubble dragons, so darn cute!), and the gameplay. I'll never forget about this game.
I beat the story mode once when I was kid. It took like 3 hours with a lot of losing and retrying. The frustration after consecutive losing made the following game even worse than before, thus taking even more time as result. But I was determined to finish the game to see the ending, which if compared to the length of the game, was not really satisfying. :D
I like this game because of the chain reaction feature. I don't play other Puzzle Bobble games except '99, and the aforementioned feature is not available on that version. That said, I can't see why this game was "hated" as you wondered. It should be the opposite. Anyway, what are you looking for that you can't even find it on TH-cam?
Puzzle - Story Mode done with all characters? Wow, that would take a long of time, and also meaningless repetitions. Maybe a compilation of each character's intro and ending is better. But I'm not interested on doing one. Player Vs. Computer - Story Mode on Expert Mode with all characters? I think there are TAS videos for this category, even though it's not for all characters. I never successfully clear it on Expert; my best record is until the eighth opponent (Bramb), and fighting the fifth (Tamtam) took the longest time due to his combo spawning from the top instead of the bottom. Beating with one character is very challenging, let alone all characters. I'll appreciate if other people want to do that. If the previous two modes have a clear ending, Player Vs. Computer - Win Contest is technically endless. Well, maybe it's possible to set up a goal like 100 wins of so before losing on purpose. But once again, it's sort of meaningless repetitions in my opinion.
I know what you mean. The interlude dialog between each possible character is different. Maybe I'll do a compilation of these in the future. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
I'm not amazing as you think. This video was done with the help of a tool (kind of tool-assisted play) but I didn't try to achieve perfect run or something like that.
In my opinion, tarot reading at the end of game is pretty much random. it's actually also available on the Arcade Mode, which only has five levels of five rounds. When replaying Arcade Mode, I don't think I ever stumble upon the same reading, even when using the same character.
That is impressive! There are quite a difficult cards to capture such as The Devil or The Hanged Man! I heard a fake rumor that explain how to unlock Cronor/Cronoa the Goddess of Time as a playable character! *laughs* i was naive lol but game is very fun

Thank you for uploading this! It was abd still is my favourite game. Cuteness level unpaired! Also, the music and art are both so magical! 💜✨
How very impressive. You are quite amazing on this game.

Iam so frustrated , i was like when this will be over im in round 104 . Now i know I'm so close .
Well, that's very close. Six more stages and you'll finish the game.
I wonder if this mode gives you a different reading upon completing it again?

Wow, was there a rumor like that? I never hear about that.
