@@paulprigge1209 Yes, I grew up on a dairy farm. Drove a Farmall F-14 on the manure spreader. Shoveling the gutters into a wheelbarrow and wheeling it out on a plank to dump it into the spreader. We did remodel the barn, added a barn cleaner, and a Farmall M to pull the spreader. Every day job, rain or snow included.
When you think about it, cows are just a giant filter. You put it in one end, and what they don’t want comes out the back! Wonder if you could feed em politicians!😅

Can’t believe the cows were trying to help you.😁. Hope you’ll get enough moisture out of all this to make a difference next planting season. God Bless your families and thanks for the video.
Of course, Brian didn’t disappoint me! As a 30 year loader operator, I took one look at the frozen stuff and said Brian you can easily do that if you know what you’re doing and well he knows what he’s doing. Good job buddy keep up the good work.
Oh the joy of Winter in a feed lot! Poopsicles and Slush Mountains! LOL!! So cool, a new tool box!! Now to put away all the toys! The little baldy was so cute from the other farm. Can't wait to see the ones you guys are expecting arrive. Have a great week!!
Nice baldie Glad to see that you and Brian are back to your normal hauling jobs you in the spreader he in the loader That way when it’s overloaded and the sh-t hits the fan ( stuck or broken or both) he loaded it 😉👍🏻. Take care young man
Well, moving cow poo in the winter has to be better than in the summer when there's clouds of flys and the poo would gag a magot. Gas mask time then. Another excellent song of the day pick by Brian. Time to go on TH-cam to watch them play it live somewhere later on my walk up to buy milk and something else for my Bebita Wife Maria.
Watching the grain farmers with their big shops. Fancy trucks and tractors polished wheels and toys. That’s all fine. But I still like the shit kickers the best. Thanks A BIG SHOUT OUT TO SONNE FARMS. Check out the guys at 802 FARMS
Your episodes are Awesome! Hey from Tifton,Georgia, we are 62 miles from the Florida line and we live on a small farm . I'm glad we don't have to plow all that snow you have in South Dakota! Phil is a good bull name. Our Hereford Bull is named Reggie, we have some black Angus cows so we get black baldies.
Brian, I knew you could scrap that poo! My wife would like a calf named after her "Nancy" you and Larson farms are the only you tube farmers she likes! Thanks.
Hi my name is Melissa I live in Chicago Illinois I love your guys's video and I really enjoy the family atmosphere and Pops always being there around you you guys are made to work together❤
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. You are moving more snow at your place getting ready for more calves. Keep at it. You and dad did a great job of cleaning off the concrete where the cows eat and drink and such. My compliments to you both for the fine way you keep the area for the cows. And you haul the manure out instead of a big pile they can get into. You keep your lots the best you can in this bad weather. My compliments to you both. A lot of lots are a mess for months but you keep it picked up. I am just so impressed with the way you keep things for your herd. Reflects on the fine herdsmen you both are. A short story. I was asked many years ago to help a cattleman in our area. He had manure piles big as a house and foot deep poo on the concrete areas. So I proceeded to clean off the concrete and haul manure and this gentleman gave me a you know what for attempting to do that. So the next day I did not go back and told him I could not work in those conditions. So that was the end of that. Felt really sorry for his livestock. What a mess he had. Will anyway enough of my stories. I have so much respect for both of you the care you give your herd and the way you keep the areas clean and sanitary for your cows and especially those calves. Well done Sonne’s!!!!!!!!!! You are really getting your use out of the payloader. That was a good purchase. And in such nice condition. The snow blade you got has been a plus also. All for now. Like the tool box you got. That will be nice to have for organization of your tools. You both take care and be safe. Thanks for everything. The Iowa Farm Boy. The Iowa Farm Boy.
I thought that one cow doing a little jump/skip was cute!---Do veteran mothers have memory of birthing in the barn & automatically move in when the door is opened?---The pineapple express is headed your way. More snow. Not as much rain in my area, but an hour north & south of me it's been scary.
I live in Canada and the place I live usually sees twice that much snow. It's safe to say you have more then we do. Lol. Love your videos. My wife loved the little one playing with the loader. So cute. Keep up the great work!!
It’s crazy just 3 years ago you guys had a small manure spreader getting pulled by the 7530.. now look at you. I bet it is way more fun hauling manure when it doesn’t take nearly as clean up! Stay warm, safe and outta the mud! Lol I’m afraid up here in the better Dakota it’s gonna be a real mud fest when our cows start
G’job guys, can’t remember hauling manure when it wasn’t schloppy, schloppy😳looks like y’all have quite the coordinated dance in the corrals👍🏻keep em comin 🇺🇸
Great video Cole, Dad and you were in overdrive today. The water holes are going to be full this year. This winter you raised a really good crop of snow. It's harvest time.
Just think, in a few months, you’ll be in your t-shirt out there doing planting and all that. Some people think winter time is the slow time for farmers. HA ! Great video. Thanks !
Mega respect fellas for the way you continually clean pens & spread the fertilizer. Always looking out for the comfort of your critters in those pens. Tough job under the freeze/thaw conditions of winter
With all those loaders on your tractors all you need is a couple of skid steers One with tracks! LOL! Wait I guess you got a couple junkers that you’re not using Anymore lol! Seriously happy for y’all. Thanks for the videos

Cole and Brian I bet you are glad that you bought the payloader as it looks like it has come into good use. I love how you make the yards as dry as possible and make sure that the cattle and have a good place to get out of the nasty weather. What do cattle and calves handle better Rain or snow ? When I was getting calves out of the state of Washington first it would take 3 days to get them and they would stop and u load the pot and feed them milk and calf starter and they would load the pot back up and then they would give them hay for the road. And they usually had 3 - 4 pots of baby calves and they would stop at another ranch on the way to Nw Iowa. Then they would arrive Saturday morning around 3 or 4 and then they would get uploaded and given milk and we would go to the ranch where they were at around 11 and get 10 and if he had any extra we would look at them and decide if we were going to take any. But I had them round white calf domes and they made calf feeding and raising go easy. When I decided to sell them 6 years after I got them I sold them for 100 dollars more for each one when I got out of cattle cuz corn was going up and I had to buy all my corn and oats for starter.
Here we have a beautiful farm on water, there's what is called Lake Sonne, which is quaint. Then, out yonder they have The Bay of Angus! It does have a stank to it, but it's only there for a limited time! Storla Station!

With dairy cattle you’re constantly dealing with manure! Many of us learn how to drive with eight n Fords with the blade. Not to mention shifting.
