Secretary of the Army Christine E. Wormuth, Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. James C. McConville, and Sergeant Major Charles Albertson host Twilight Tattoo in honor of the U.S. Army’s 247th Birthday at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Virginia, June 15, 2022.
Music and military pageantry by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington’s ceremonial units, the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and The United States Army “Pershing’s Own,” saluted the service and sacrifice of Soldiers and Families, past and present. The Birthday Tattoo also featured a demonstration by the Army Golden Knights and a flyover by The Army Aviation Brigade.
