If you're looking for another last-minute Christmas gift to make for your friends and family, you're going to love this project! These mini accordion albums (inspired by Jana's Papercraft) are fast, fun & easy to make! You can make these for any occasion, season or holiday simply by changing up the colours, papers and stamps that you use. You could fill these albums with motivational quotes, journal some memories or even turn the pages into coupons (ie: for dinner & a movie, lunch date, home-cooked meal, massage, etc).

***Notes: you only need two pieces of the 2" x 11" strips, if you wish to cover the inside front and back flaps, as shown in my video tutorial. You can also just cut two pieces that measure 2" x 4" - I just had an extra 2" x 11" strip handy, so that's what I used. Also, in the video I mentioned that I used an entire piece of 6" x 6" DSP, when in fact, I only used half a sheet for each album.

This is such an adorable little album. My first thought is that it would be so sweet to fill it with encouraging scriptures to give to people who are hospitalized or going through a difficult time. Thanks so much for sharing this idea.

This is so sweet! Love the idea of it being a little quote album, or scriptures or affirmations for a friend…. most pages with little words, and then a few photos too. I have a tag punch (or could use my Circuit) to make the tags wider which I think I would do, maybe 3.5 inches wide, for a little bit bigger photos. Also love the stamped pages idea with little words. Like you said, so many possibilities!

Thank you SO much for this tutorial. I’m new to paper crafting this year. By far, this one of the best ideas I have viewed. I will be busy. Especially for Easter: Lenten scripture and perhaps Stations of the Cross? A pet sympathy journal with sayings for those struggling with the loss? Or affirmations for those struggling with addiction? Something for a child who is struggling with life? I am so glad I found you and your Christmas present to me...this tutorial!

Yes! You did it again.... I saw this video pop up and I hurried to see it! I can imagine this on a key ring hanging from a bag/purse and easily show off pics ! I am not a grandmother yet, but I have my daughters that I would love to show off in such a cute and meaningful way! It's like a itty bitty scrap book, see I can handle that kind of scrap booking!!! Just wonderful. You could put one or two word quotes with pictures to represent them. Ex: Peace, Joy, Serenity, Togetherness, Adventure,etc.. With maybe pictures from Nature. I love your little book. It was quite fun to watch. Greatjob!

What is the spacing between the holes on your bow maker?
Hi Shirley, The spacing on the ribbon maker that I have is 1" from the first hole, then about 1cm in between the next six holes.
