I just brought the same Mbp M2. a couple of days ago. What made you decide MBP M2 over the MBA M2? For me it was the Touch Bar, long battery life and cooling fan.

The MBP M2’s notchless screen would make me pick it way more than the MBA M2. Notches on phones are normalized, but on laptops too? Hell nah for me.

Honestly the MacBooks are really really powerful even the air base model , for me i program video edit , do digital art etc and the MacBook pro base version with 16gb for me is more than enough , it really depends upon your usage , if it's for daily usage like social media consumption, little bit of coding and video editing the air is more than enough just make sure to get atleast 16gb memory since MacBook is a one time investment, you're going to use it for the next 8-10 years or so...and by that time i believe hardly any software would run on 8gb of Ram .

It’s not about destroying the aesthetics. I’m just protecting my device from unforeseen circumstances. But it actually depends on our different priorities, some actually like adding a lot of colors to personalize their laptop 🙂 you do you
