The 2nd team needs geo characters, so use someone like Zhongli, Itto, or Ningguang. Mono geo team works perfectly in 2nd half.
Actually when I played the boss didn’t do anything thing but flying around but in xlice video the wolf boss was doing everything before going into the second phase I think that’s why he struggled in it lmao
He didn’t use a good team or just did strategize well. Yoyomiya, hutao, itto mono geo (itto can hit him above) ayaka. yae and raiden. I used itto mono geo and it was less than 1min clear. He could still use noelle but the dmg and ER won’t cut it.
Fun fact: Abyssal Herald (The spin one) in eng is voiced by Kellen Goff, also known as Diavolo, Funtime, Glamrock and Molten Freddy and a few more roles there and there When I did my reasearch on his dubbs the guy is practically everywhere which is pretty impressive
i agree that the abyss was MUCH easier this patch... this was my very first 12-3 clear so i got the special namecard :) honestly i thought 12-1 was the hardest of the last floor

I have 33 stars, it really sucks that I don't have any electros built or i could run childe tazer instead of childe intl, and second half could be melt ganyu instead of just ganyu with zhongli
The hardest for me atm is 12-2-2. Can't get past because of Wolflord. Your run gave me an idea on the main problem. Thanks. 12-3-2 is a pain because they're setup the same as the ones in the event. If you don't kill the other immediately after killing the first, it will revive shortly. About 30-40% of their health, maybe? I only know because someone posted their run in a FB group whilst being confuse what the shit was happening.

They are not that difficult , u need to memorize their attack patterns and bringing a team comp specialized in dealing massive aoe damage will help u a lot
I really like this showcase, it really shows the differences between what teams you run in abyss, floor 12 first half was easy in general, but it's nice to see him struggling with 12-2-2 while I 3 starred that with a minute left, and then the contrast when he clears 12-3-2 with more than a minute left where I constantly struggled there because I used hu tao and failed to group them so they kept reviving.
I recommend targeting one of them and bringing it to a low HP and then doing the same to the other one, once they group up and go to the center for that spinny lazer attack you can quickly them with a hu tao burst or target one and quickly kill the other. Since they are close by, you don't have to run much!
I just wanted 1 Thoma constellation...ended up getting Yae, and I pulled 8 4 stars. 6 of those were diona who I already had max constellation as well as a fischl who is also max con and a rainslasher....I hate this banner with a passion

tbh it took me about 7 months to 36 star abyss. which was last month. aha (that being said, my only dedicated dps is ayaka, and I got her by accident. game knew id only pull for off field support and took pity on me--not that my characters are bad, but my single strongest strike--80k--was made by barbara)

Again, not saying my teams are bad, I can make more consistent dmg and rely more on team comps (while they go “triple dps go brrrr”). That being said, all of us managed to 36*

Noelle's shield is very strong but is balanced by having a lot of downtime so most of the time the shield tends to only benefit her as she heals or if she is your carry and the downtime is filled by the rest of your rotation

Basically just target one of them and bring it to 25%HP then target the other and bring it to 25%HP. Then when they group and are in the middle of the area doing that attack where they shoot out lasers, you can kill one and immediately start killing the other.

Is there any particular reason you run 4pc Husk on Yun Jin? 🤔 It seems to me she has trouble with the stacks(she'll generate 2 and they'll drop halfway through her Q duration which matters as she doesn't snapshot).
Husk generates stacks when off-field. You shouldn't be staying on Yunjin long enough to lose a stack, it's pop in for skill/burst and swap out immediately.
The fact that he got tornado before the shield phase... that's a ripperinos in my book tbh. I got shield phase 20 seconds into that half and 3 starred it first try... (ganyu, lvl60/60 ning, benny, zhongli)
I’ve been waiting for Yae and saved primos for over a month. Can’t believe my pity went to Keqing. I don’t even know if I should be 😤 or 😭. Also wanted a couple of Diona, Fiscl OR Thoma but got several Barbaras and a couple of 4 stars that are already C6. Didn’t get ANYONE from the banner! Not a happy camper and definitely discouraged from allocating what little free time I have to play Genshin.

seeing someone not being able to kill the wolflord with a whale monogeo team is both reassuring and terrifying because i thought my problem was that i only have one geo character built. turns out thats not the problem! the problem is that i dont have zhongli specifically
what i did for abyss is 3* chamber 3 with raidenational and childe taser with yae/fischl. the wolf boss was being a pain in the ass so i literally just brought a lvl 20 ningguang with raidenational (i removed XQ) and full HP artifacts to tank the corrosion and kill the wolf statues LMAO.

Raiden national or some form of the national (Bennett, XQ, XL, optional) is really good against them as you can burst them down even if they don't group up well
i didn't realise that they changed abyss and just ran through it and got 34 stars (can at max 35 this one but im too lazy). definitely a bit easier than the previous one (could only 33-34 star)
Well noelle energy issues and slow attack sigh is not good😭😭 and her dmg is not that high here, I wonder what artifacts he was using. The 2nd floor boss are too tanks for that dmg. but I still like her durability. Yunjin is really good for noelle it helps boost her dmg.
You can check Noelle's stats in the video. She has 68.8/222.9, 1918 DEF (no Husk stacks pretty sure) 116.8% ER with 80/80 R1 Redhorn. She's currently using Itto's artifacts so when Itto uses it, he should have up to 90% crit rate because of his ascension stat.
Noelle isn't the highest damaging character in the game and his is 80/80 though he does have whale gear and artifacts, I also think that he did mono-Geo more for the theme, as although Yun Jin buffs Noelle's attack, I don't think it's a full character's worth of buffed damage and that putting another sub-dps in that spot wouldn't be better, same with Gorou although he buffs her more...
the teams I used to run 3* the chambers 2 and 3 were first half: keqing, kokomi, kazuha, beidou second half: itto, zhongli, ningguang, qiqi (but I managed to 3* when I switched to hu tao, xingqiu, zhongli, and ningguang) my problem with chamber 1 is in the second half; those vishaps are too thicc for my characters
You don get to see the buffs clearly in their game lmao. Like how much is the shield, the buff. I mean it’s pve sk whatever Also why can’t abyss be more skill based than build based lmao. What a weeb game sometimes feels like

then i just did an ayaka team without a geo and beat it first try lmao
Well noelle energy issues and slow attack sigh is not good😭😭 and her dmg is not that high here, I wonder what artifacts he was using. The 2nd floor boss are too tanks for that dmg. but I still like her durability. Yunjin is really good for noelle it helps boost her dmg.
You can check Noelle's stats in the video. She has 68.8/222.9, 1918 DEF (no Husk stacks pretty sure) 116.8% ER with 80/80 R1 Redhorn. She's currently using Itto's artifacts so when Itto uses it, he should have up to 90% crit rate because of his ascension stat.
Noelle isn't the highest damaging character in the game and his is 80/80 though he does have whale gear and artifacts, I also think that he did mono-Geo more for the theme, as although Yun Jin buffs Noelle's attack, I don't think it's a full character's worth of buffed damage and that putting another sub-dps in that spot wouldn't be better, same with Gorou although he buffs her more...

first time I got 3 stars on two chambers of floor 12 (chamber 2 & 3 only, chamber 1 is hard to 3* to me for some reason)
the teams I used to run 3* the chambers 2 and 3 were
first half: keqing, kokomi, kazuha, beidou
second half: itto, zhongli, ningguang, qiqi (but I managed to 3* when I switched to hu tao, xingqiu, zhongli, and ningguang)
my problem with chamber 1 is in the second half; those vishaps are too thicc for my characters
why didn't he used albedos burst like a single ??
it's usually a dps loss in terms of the casting time versus just hitting normally a few times with your main damage dealer
