I have an all silver mirrored look in my master bedroom and entryway and I love it 😍.I can’t do mixed metal with jewellery or home decor so I’m happy to commit to the chrome look for my sanity lol . Also , every one has moved on to this black , cream and Nordic look so my house is currently unique 😂. There will always be trends so just go along with whatever you like and works for you.

I just became a Pinterest gurl myself. Once you learn to work it, it’s amazingly helpful and inspiring. I have a hard time buying things online because I love vintage touches. I regret buying everything that I like them being overwhelmed when it comes to styling a vignette or shelf with the pieces I bought.
I have soooo many lol but I’ve come to the realization that some of those things should have been done by a professional as allowed to me doing it myself lol For example, I wanted a wood slat wall so bad! And I wasn’t paying anyone 2000+ dollars so I did it myself. Not only was it hard, I messed my wall up lol another thing.. painting my wall black.. the moment it was done, I absolutely hated it 😂 but with these mistakes I’ve learned what I like and what I can do. I know I like lighter tones, I realized I like more tropical themed designs and a little modern or contemporary.. I also learned that it’s okay to pay someone to do it. 😂 but most importantly I learned to not fall so deep into trends.
Jackie's house is swaggy AF! I disagree on mixed metals, it can work, but ideally there would be continuity between fixtures, but decor and smalls can be played with. But people have design boundaries too! most people aren't extremely adventurous and Jackie's just saying what makes her comfortable. And it's fabulous! Your whole house is a VIBE!

Since my divorce I moved into my own space and I wanted something that was just me alone. So I’ve been updating my space I have creams, golds, black and white I thought the aesthetic of it. I will be changing out the black to keep it more light. I remember back in 2016 everything was earth tone in my house lol. Never doing that again

I still like mixed metals as long as they aren’t super shiny. We are silver ppl but I also thing gold is beautiful as long as it’s not the harsh gold tones. The golds in your home are the type of golds we like.

I love mixing metals in decor & jewelry . My Christmas decor is gold and silver and it’s so pretty! I surprised myself at how nice it turned out! LOL
Perennial fabrics are the way to go with light colored furniture. Any spill, including red wine, can be easily wiped clean. And it is eco-friendly!

Mirrored furniture was a time to be alive!! I loved it back in 2017 and then hated it in 2019. Such a quick turnaround and I hate silver!!

I actually like mirrored furniture! It’s very glam and over the top. It fits in very modern/industrial and glam aesthetics… but maybe not versatile
