First time to see the loco which made by us running on AC tracks. Before we start to do it, we even don't know how AC controller switch the direction, then we spend around 2 months to develop the circuit, adapt the socket plug onto the universal mainboard, and make the capacitor working simultaneously with the voltage stabilizer. In China we even cannot find any Marklin AC controller coz on one runs AC train model here. This was the first time that we getting in touch with the AC system. Interesting. BTW, Please notice that, the brightness of the lights are quite good under low voltage. Especially we optimized the circuit.
