Xbox doesnt allow offline couch co-op without a gamepass subscription. Really shitty way to sell a game with false advertisement. Requested a refund. It also has you run through a tutorial before getting to the main menu, so I had about 15 minutes of “play.” Before realizing the game is not setup for offline.

Is it possible to do a local co op shared screen game instead of split? Because it seems like that might be a work around for those of us that want to do local 4 player but only have an Xbox X or S
So in xbox it can only be 2 local players? I tried it on Cloud Gaming and idk if it only does in the downloaded/purchased game bcs i cant join the P2 with the other controller 🥶
@cristinaciubotariu7627 We aren’t entirely sure, but we believe they can because you’re able to lock the game so no one can join without the code. If you end up getting confirmation that other people can join, please reply so others can see it!
@christoffermartins7169 Unfortunately Party Animals is always online, even for local multiplayer. The game is available on Xbox and PC so where you play will determine whether or not you’ll need an online subscription service. Let us know if you decide to check it out!

I just tried on the Xbox one and was unable to connect 2nd controller. It didn’t give me an option to add a 2nd player even after smashing all the button combinations I could think of. Please help. Do I need to have two gamer tags or can one be a guest? Or…? I need help

Which console are you playing on? Apparently the Xbox One consoles only support 2-player couch co-op.

@pazvisla Yep! The only caveat is Xbox One consoles are limited to a max of 2 players.
So can other people join my custom party? Or do i need friends to play, because i dont wanna play with bots

Steam shows that it has shared/split screen co-op, so you should be good to go!
I just want to play online against other people with a friend
Turns out if you make a private lobby , people will join if you chose popular maps or modes, and you still get xp
Bruh. What a bad idea for setting the active button not A button on xbox. Every game has done that
We also find it weird that you can’t use the D-pad to navigate the menus!
