Big review and scoring demo of the Berlin Con Sordino Strings, a new muted strings library courtesy of Orchestral Tools. This is a intimate and lush string library with well balanced sections.
In the video I demo many of the different articulations. Furthermore we try the instrument articulations in action and write a short string piece.
    Hope you enjoy the demonstration!
    Big thanks for watching,

hi, thanks a lot for the review ! I've noticed that in your piano roll, the midi notes are following their own track's color. May i ask how you do that?
My midi notes are velocity color dependant ! thanks a lot

In Logic you can select whether to use velocity or the tracks color as the note coloring. I’ll show it in a video. ☀️

also, great review : ) In general I find Orchestral Tools (and many others) struggling with string realism, but you sure managed to create some very beautiful phrases !

Thanks Dale, I feel many of the Orchestral tools libraries have very useful and inspiring patches! Though I do use strings from a broad palette of libraries 8Dio, East West etc in my productions. 🥁☀️

@@MattiasHolmgren aouw yes i've landed on 8dio as i've been seeking for nice quartet sounding lately. For string orchestaral I found Performance Sample's Vista to be good when I need to create lyrical phrases.

Hey, where is your LG C1 TV, Matthias?

Hehe hi, today LG C1 is in my daughters room (running Stranger Things). 😂 I intend on doing a full review on the 48” LG shortly though. I have been swapping between my old displays and the LG C1 to feel the difference and pros / cons.
