Good evening Sir..I have one doubt. As per Government of India act 1919, total elected seats for legislative assembly were 104 while for upper house elected seats were 34 , so total elected seats of central legislature comes out to be 138 then why is it written that Swarijsts won 42 seats out of 141 elected seats in the November 1923 elections??

Provincial assembly means regional assembly whereas central assembly means national assembly.
Just like Rajya sabha and Loka sabha in modern days.(These are not same,just for understanding purpose.)
