Yellowstone is a drama series that follows the Dutton family, led by patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Costner). The Duttons control the largest contiguous ranch in the U.S. and must contend with constant attacks by land developers, clashes with an Indian reservation and conflict with America's first national park.

This show is art reflecting life in that many landowners face huge challenges trying to hold onto their land for the next generation. We should not cover this whole country in houses and shopping centers.

Same problem in Canada. Especially rural Ontario. Land grabs everywhere, price of everything going up. Making it hard on family farms to keep going. We're a 4th generation beef and small cash crop operation (900 acres). We have plenty of the issues shown in the show. Especially city idiots and trespassers.

My favorite thing about this show and why I’m looking forward to the spin-offs is because of the consistency. Every character has a story but even when they dig into those arcs it doesn’t stray to far away from the main plot . It’s not too many unanswered questions whether you’re happy with the outcome or not they do a great job bringing everything full circle

You are not trying hard enough. There are plenty of great shows out there that are on par. (just not set in Montana)
You need to flip the dial and look around. This show is just tropes one after another. I find it so hard to watch. Reminds me of Sons of Anarchy, you really need to set aside reality to enjoy.

As an Englishman I can seriously say I think this is the best series I have seen come from USA. The acting is amazing along with the scenery and although never been on a horse I now can understand how amazing it must be to ride like these men. Keep it going

Purely from a cinematography view, it's brilliant. It sure isn't the best though. Kevin Costner is an icon and just his mere presence makes the show brilliant.

This show is a bit like succession on HBO. Wealthy family, amazing cinematography, good story, good writing even better actors . High class that's for sure

Perfection? LOL not by a long shot.. Most overrated boring show.. It was good in the beginning when Yellowstone seemed like a criminal organisation, but now it has become an incredibly boring show.. 45% of it is showing rancher stuff/activites, 50% is showing Beth and her annoying drama and 5% finally interesting plot..
1) Looking forward to the new season 2) In this trailer alone I’ve seen more people clear a table off onto the floor in anger than I’ve seen in person in my entire life!

There hasn't been a disappointing episode yet! I don't know how they do it. I haven't enjoyed a series in a long time, and along comes Yellowstone! Masterpieces, every single episode.

Here's to hoping this season is as coherent as the first two seasons were. Seasons 3 and 4 have done nothing go downhill for me.

I just started watching this show and binge watched the first 4 seasons on about a week. I'm 54 and was present for a lot of Kevin Costner movies when they came out and he knocks it out of the park in this show along with the other actors that play Beth and Rip....going to a bummer having to wait for weekly episodes.

@@Bizarro49 While I don't agree that the show sucks, but it has significantly dropped in quality since Season 2. I've still enjoyed the series, but Seasons 3 and 4 have been tremendously lacking in coherence and the quality of writing that the show was created on.
