Steveo that fabrication debris article is super interesting. I knew about the heat treated glass having learned the hard way many years ago. We cleaned a swimming pool glass balustrade and ended up scratching the surface and had to pay for polishing and a scratch removal service. Good to know the actual reason behind why it happened. We actually shy away from using Scrapers nowadays as a lot of the Bi-fold windows we find won't take a scraper.
I have both those scrapers. The Ettore yellow cap feels to light/cheap when I use it. I prefer the Ninja scraper or a Triumph, either brand but definitely the angled version. And always the triumph razors as you mentioned. I keep extra protective caps on hand as those brake often for me.
My experience with stainless steel is that you can get micro scratches on the windows more easily. (See when the sun is there) I have used regular blades for 32 years and find these work much better.

Stevo... Another little tip for the carbon steel blades is to spray them with WD-40... This will make them last much longer
