    I will be definitely taking the crash course. I like the explanation but not familiar with the ratios. I just finished my FNP and getting ready for boards now it is so much information to retain!

    1:128 RPR titer is high ? I am so anxious to know .
    I also have eye floaters that appeared out of nowhere in 1 eye. Had skinrash on my back and arms.

    What about a 1:1 ratio with no history of syphilis ?

      Many factors go into play when evaluating results. It maybe worth repeating the test with TP-PA and VDRL test.

    What if the result showed from FTA-ABS test was weak positive? What does it mean?

      It's possible it's positive or false positive, so I'd retest to confirm. It's a test for antibodies and it's possible the antibody response wasn't robust if they were infected but I'd retest to be sure.
