There's a brazilian band that makes music that kinda sounds like these, it's called Catavento and the album Ansiedade na Cidade really reminds me of this. If you like this OST maybe you'll like the band.

I'm kind of odd that when buying games, the ost is usually the biggest selling point for me, or what even gets the game on my radar in the first place. This one is no exception. phenomenal song, can't wait to hear the rest of the ost.
I’m the exact same man, those were my main selling points on games like Undertale and Bastion.
The only reason I even got into rpgs is because of the ost. Back in the old snes emulator days, I would just put on Earthbound and listen to the "name please" screen for a while, but never play the game cuse I hated rpgs. Eventually I forced myself to play it because the ost was so good I just respected the game like that. Even though I thought I wouldn't like it, I felt like I owed the developers to at least play the game. Turns out it became my favorite game for a looong time. That happened when I was about 9-10 years old.

When i played the first Hylics, I was so surprised with its design, soundtrack and overall ambience and aura, it's an amazing game that despite the limitations of RPGMaker managed to impress not only me but a lot of people.
Now Hylics 2... is everything Hylics is but much more polished, and retaining its same aura that made me love the first game. Its design it's unique and oozes creativity, it's literally art and its soundtrack... is more than I could ever listen to... especially Prevailing Westerlies in particular since it reminded me when I first heard Velvety from Hylics 1, it had such an impact on me that I spent hours listening it on loop while I was drawing and chilling.
You two managed to make an amazing achievement, I really hope you keep being incredible and humble artists.

God, it feels like it's been closer to a decade since this game came out. I can't believe it's only been 4 years and the OST has way more than a few thousand views on it like when I was first listening to it (not that I'm complaining). Everything about this game feels so timeless.

This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard and I'm not exaggerating. I was walking listening to this the other day and I felt like I was in another dimension for a little while.

This song it's like a mantra for me, sometimes i need to listen this.
I played Hylics 1 back in 2017 originally, it was a phenomenal experience, there is no where else you can get a trippy ass RPG of this caliber. So when Hylics 2 was announced and came out, you bet your damn ass I was excited, mainly for what I couldn't expect from this masterpiece of an artist that is Mason Lindroth. There were like 5 times in the game where I just had to put down my controller and stare, because I couldn't comprehend what I was looking at (in a good way), it blew my mind beyond my initial expectations. The airship and the first person segment in particular had me trying to make sense of it for minutes, and as someone who's been obsessed with staring at the old Gorillaz Plastic Beach art, I was in love.
This song kind of reminds me of Transistor's OST. But, this is much more upbeat and chill, rather than a descent into a crumbling city.

I made my tracks on this OST using my iPhone along with my guitar and bass of course, so like...thank the folks over at Apple for their canned drum samples I guess? Heh heh, that being said, I DID work hard to mix and master this to bring out the best in the track.

@@Kydino Hylics 1 comes with the OST 'cause it's an RPGmaker game, but Hylics 2 is made in Unity and you can't access the files as easily.

A game with a good atmosphere (or memorable scenes) can elevate an already good song to godhood. Undertale is a game with some good music that has become iconic because of the setting it’s within. I feel games have this distinct advantage of being able to have music be much more memorable. Another would be the halo 3 soundtrack
