Nature Sound Books(2023) - live clip #3 "Behind the Light"

"Behind the Light" from my film concert with live music "Nature Sound Books” on March 19, 2023.
This is my soundscape of light. Of course light itself has no sound. Light changes its expression exquisitely from moment to moment. I collected scene of flickering light and tried to express sound world of light with my music.
The soundtrack is minimalistic here. My music repeats one phrase from beginning to end. It consists of only five notes: A#, B(low), D#, F#, B(high). What changes are the dynamics, octave position and order of notes. This creates contingency in repetition.
By the way, a friend of mine asked me once if this film was not "Behind the Light", but rather "Against the Light". Yes and no. Although the meaning is wrong, I was fascinated by the sound and fantasy of the words "Behind the Light."
