I’m hoping you be able to do that tutorial about finishing of a Mill Hill ornament. I enjoy very much that every two weeks you start and finish two Mill Hill kits.😊💕
🪷love when your videos pop up! I may have to get that Yuletide Goddess. It’s so pretty. On the lookout for a huge piece of 20ct Aida, I want to do the Breath of the Wild tapestry but it’s a pretty penny to get a piece of fabric that big.
Gothic Light is definitely Christmas/winter to me too! It reminds me of St. Lucy. According to legend, she wore a candle-lit wreath on her head. Many people celebrate her feast day on December 13th by doing the same!
Regarding the light. I just bought a Brightech magnifying floor lamp. It really works for me with the higher count fabrics. Of course I got it on Amazon.
omg the garden gnome kit is so adorable 🖤 Your Yule Goddess is gorgeous. I have that chart but haven't started her. She's on my Legacy Piece list though, so she'll be started soon.
🌻 thanks for another fun update! I love that little hedgehog kit. Though I agree their backstitching charting is intense. We almost need 2 charts, one for x's and one for backstitch! I'm also thinking about updating my lighting situation so looking forward to seeing what you do and what your thoughts are.
Agree that we are not acclimated to the heat in the PNW, anything over 85 seems extreme…over 100 is insanity🥵 I have loved Mill Hill kits for years, just started stitching the ornaments a few years ago, love them! 🌺
Another great video! I'm really behind on the Deadly Aquarium. I think I missed a couple of columns 😢 gotta go back and check. Loving your stitching. It's gorgeous! 🌻
Yay! So fun to have a day off and catch up with you! I love your little mill hill hedgehog he is too cute! 🦔 I’m looking forward to our time Saturday and I am def bringing my Santa!! 🎅🏼 💐
🌷Thank you for another flosstube, Nice progress on your wips and starts. Sorry you are living in construction. Think about how nice it will be when complete! I hope you get some relief from the hot days. It's tough when you aren't as used to it. Happy stitching! 🧵🪡
🌼Love seeing the Yule Godess! I’m at the scary face stage. Also, your shirts make me laugh. There is one with a possem hissing and it says “first of all… I’m a delight” and I really want that one!😂.
Bright Tech - I’ve had it for a few years. Matriculating arm - adjusts really well. Weighted bottom so it doesn’t fall over. It can also be shortened to use on a table. I have mine next to my recliner. Amzn.
Really enjoying your flosstubes! Your enthusiasm for Mill Hill kits is infectious! The Deadly Aquarium is looking just stunning. We underwent a major kitchen renovation a few years ago so I can relate to the chaos! 🌷
🪷 Love your channel and seeing your projects and plans! So fun. Im new to cross stitch and a little intimidated to find safe placement for some of my patterns ( so i have plenty of room but also conserve fabric where can) on the expensive linen, but ready to dive in! Thanks for sharing. 💛✨🌼🪸
Yay you got the Lowery out! I use a free standing light with mine, because I don’t have any attachments for the Lowery. Your video made me realize that I forgot the back stitching on the ghost shark. 😅 I pulled out my first Mill Hill and sorted the threads. Maybe I’ll manage to get it stitched up this week. 🪻
My favorite lamp for stitching is my Humanscale Nova task lamp. Super bright (and adjustable brightness), and the thin-film LED means no glare, and I can position it right above my stitching and below eye level, so I can still see the TV. It was pretty spendy, but worth every penny! 🌻
I have my Lowery stand and have the same issue! I bought a magnifying light on a clamp and the light bar for the lowery stand so that clips on my stand and I can move it around as needed. It’s more cost effective until I get a craft room and a fancy craft light. Love watching your videos!
I’m enjoying your flosstubes. The deadly aquarium piece is turning out so beautiful. I’m getting curious to know what it will look like when completed. I love your little hedgehog. It is so cute and must have been some work to complete for sure. You are the Queen of Mill Hills! I just started stitching Santa’s Midnight Ride for Christmas in July today. It’s so funny because you are the second person to have talked about that one. It is so colourful so I couldn’t resist doing it even though I have too many wips right now. I just ordered the pdf for it and I’m stitching it on white Aida so it will be a little easier to stitch. Happy stitching to you.
Hey Rebecca~~ Incredibly fun video. Your kitchen reno sounds busy but interesting; hope all the dust settles soon and good luck with the house pixies as well--completely get that. Curious about the book set just over your left shoulder (???) Excellent work on the Deadly Aquarium piece. The effect is working; it's getting creepier/more interesting with each section released. Looking forward to your future Mill Hills as well. Take care~~🌼 From the Midwest, US.
Awesome seeing all your stitches! I hope it cools off for you! 😁 I have a daylight halo go light that works really well, I usually leave it plugged in most of the time and only minimally use the magnifying but I am glad I have it when I need it.
I would like very much to hear your opinions on lighting for stitching. I definitely will need better light and magnification. I also just bought a lowery stand and also have not set it up. I think I may need the long arm attachment. I have never done a Mill Hill ornament but I do have the Jim Shore 12 days of Christmas pattern.
🌺 oh yea, good pick!! Garden Gnomes is currently the Mill Hill I’m working on! My first MH & I’ve been enjoying it, not super far! Too many new start distractions 😊
Tell me about it…Too freaking hot, humid and crabby with a “C”! 😅 Inside backstitching on my large Xmas tree XS skirt and it never seems to end! I am sooooo done with this piece! 😊
All your projects are so pretty. I have a Lowry stand and I also use a light/magnifying floor stand. It’s the Magnificent Pro 3 in 1 from The Daylight Company. I sit in an armchair, the Lowry is on my left, the magnifying light is on my right, it works perfectly for me. Sometimes you can get a great deal at JOANN on the magnifying lamp if you combine coupons and buy during a sale.
LOL I just started this video as I’m getting off work and your shirt cuts off after discuss and it cracked me up. “Dislikes people but willing to discuss” 😂😂❤ ily sm and cannot wait to meet you in person. Agreed on the heat, NOT here for it. 😅
Hi! Where do you live in WA? My daughter is at college in Bellingham. We are headed up there Thursday for a long weekend to see her. I love Portland and acorns and threads as well as Powell books.
@@michelledebardeleben64 I’ve been wanting to visit Bellingham-I believe they have a really good art scene. I’m farther down toward Seattle and on the other side of the Puget Sound. 😊
@@BeckStitchesEverything cool. Bellingham does have a cool art scene and music scene. There is a cool museum called the spark museum about invention of electricity and s such. If that interests you.

I’m planning to start filming my tutorial later this week. Hopefully I can get it edited and published soon!

@@BeckStitchesEverything I’m a video game nerd…it’s from one of the newer Legend of Zelda games. 😅
