Good review. I have a pair of down booties and they have done well in the winter months. xx

I just got mine from the brand Lixada. There's only two layers of fabric, and outter and an inner sock. as such the down is able to move around inside. When they arrived the down was all clustered at the bottom of the feet and I had to manually move it around which was annoying, so I think one with baffles would be best. I suspect the down will move around over time and cause cold spots, especially if you move around in them. For sleeping or laying around in a tent/camp they're fine. I've been using them at home and they are rather warm, but not devoid of issues. for 10$ and something that packs down small as an orange, it's fine.

Got the wife some for crimbo. Too warm for last weekends trip and I await her trial. Gonna be going upmarket with the heating system too. Just waiting for the yanks to deliver it.

They looked like they would be warm. I wish they were sold in the USA and I couldn’t find them on Amazon

I just tried them this weekend and the temp went down to 3c so not overly cold.. I had my wool socks on and put these on.... I still woke up cold.... maybe my feet are just a block of ice but these didn't work for me unfortunately.

I was looking at these but, if you’re an 8 and they are a medium, there doesn’t look much room for a size 10 foot.
Do you reckon a 10 would get in them, Dan?

Bought some lixada brand booties. Not impressed. All the down was bunched up in the toe and not enough to spread around foot. I hope this brand is better.

Great to support British suppliers in this day and age, but not for me. Too long in the tooth now to move away from wool.
