Not something I would roll with, but I am a charcoal/wood guy other than my flat top. That said, for the price point and all the options that you get, it seems like it may be a quality buy. The question in the end will come down to the durability and what the 8 year limited warranty covers. Very well done review, brother!
Yeah we will see! I’m giving this one to my father in law. He’s had his Weber grill since 1995 I think! lol I think it’s a good little grill for the money but like you, I wouldn’t have gone out to buy one because I prefer smoke and coals too BUT the convenience has been great!

Wife bought me a Genesis for my birthday 14 years ago, basically the equivalent options to this. I have had ok experience with it and have noticed quality go down with while price has sky rocketed. My Genesis I have replaced, all flavor bars and grates (rusted away), had to replace heating manifold as these freeze as well, had to replace propane hose as that wouldn’t turn anymore on tank, ignitor doesn’t work any more, and magnetic that keeps doors closed stop working in windy days? From day one I noticed uneven heat across grates so had to learn hit and cold spots. We own a second Weber at our summer hime that the heat knobs stop turning this year so I looked at the 3 burner Spirit (old one is a Spirit) E-310 until I saw $620 price tag. I would pay this for a new Genesis not for a Spirit way overpriced in my eyes so after seeing what’s out there, reading reviews, and putting my hands on grills leaving Weber to try a Mesa 415, way more grill for the money and can’t be anymore unreliable than my Weber are. Just looked up @ the equivalent 4 burner with side burner Genesis $1399…😱
I actually gave it to my father in law and he loves it. He uses it all the time, it’s a great size for two people who also like to do a lot of entertaining.
I just assembled the MESA 405BZ from Lowe’s and I’m concerned that the bottom edges of the side shelves are razor sharp and could cause a serious laceration to someone not aware of this problem. Coming from a Weber grill with similar side shelves, they turn up ⬆️ the edges which prevents accidental damage.

@@LAP1050 Put some rubber on the corners...or even the door edge guard type plastic...sounds like an easy fix.
@@LAP1050 Yeah I agree, they are definitely a bit worrysome BUT I haven't had any accidents or seen any on the interwebs. It's definitely something to keep in mind while using it but once it's assembled, I don't think anyone would have any issues?
Horrible experience with Monument. The design with the glass is unsafe and represented a problem after three uses. Their customer support was horrible. After navigating the support organization to no avail, I contacted the COO of Monument Grill to express my deep dissatisfaction with the handling of a serious issue I’ve experienced with one of your products. I purchased the Mesa Stainless Steel 5-Burner Infrared Liquid Propane Gas Grill with 1 Side Burner (Model M405BZ) from Lowe’s on November 17, 2024, for $399.00. Unfortunately, the grill has proven to be defective and potentially hazardous.Adding to my frustration, your representative suggested that the issue was caused by a grease fire. This explanation is not only incorrect but also dismissive. To clarify, I cooked two steaks and some vegetables prior to the incident-there was no grease fire. After using the grill only three times, the glass shattered, and the main lid imploded at the handle during the third use. Thankfully, no one was injured, but this incident raises significant safety concerns about the product's quality and durability. I will be posting video and pictures but wanted to save a few of you from making the mistake I did. Go buy a Weber - much better company and product.

All I can say is that my father in law has been using the Mesa ever since I made this review over 9 months ago and he loves it. I also have been using the 605Pro since making that review video 8 months ago. (I see you copied and pasted your comment over on that video as well) The 605Pro sits outside (covered when not in use) and we just had 4 feet of snow over Thanksgiving. I cooked burgers the day after that snow storm after digging it out. I have a had a great experience with them. I do appreciate you sharing your experience though, even though it was a bad one.

I do a lot of skewers like shish kabobs. What accessory do you recommend for that. Also hoe does this compare to victory grill

Yes! That 5th burner is an infrared searing burner. They didn’t tell me about that one until I finished this video
