    I am usually not interested in buying these products, but I want to be up to date which is the best value gear in this market segment, and how these manufacturers behave and develop over time. Best trusted channel.

    I have been using the MX3s on my desktop for a bit over 3 weeks now. The previous speakers that sat there for 10 years were a pair of M-Audio AV40s which were dying of heat death.
    New system: MX3s, Jamo S803s sitting on top of Isoacoustics stands. I am always within 1 to 2 meters in a small room. I love it. I do not think I would shy away at putting much more expensive speakers on this amp.
    Yep, remote beam is a bit narrow but the functions are nice and simple.
    Being a One knob controller, keep the instructions close for a while. I think the knob contains all functions that are possible.
    Tone controls are nicely stepped.
    I agree with iiWi about the sound dimensions. Speaker placement is a good cure.
    I wanted a nice little device for the desk. I use the Bluetooth for a Firestick plugged into my monitor. For music my Grado SR80s sound great through this amp, and my everyday old and durable ATH M50x sound their best I have heard out of for casual listening/gaming.

    I've been running the original MX3 for a couple years as my desktop sound hub. It's been a great solution. I'm glad to see you cover the follow-up and DEFINITELY want to see any All-in-One alternatives if you see any worthy.

    Can I suggest some stuff for you to review? No pressure just heads up. Fosi V3 amp. (Op-amps changeable). Get the version with 48v power supply.
    S.m.s.l m300se. A cirrus mobile dac chip in a desktop dac.
    iBasso DC04 pro. A surprisingly good dongle dac for the Money.

    Got one of these to replace a very, very, very old set of computer speakers that I was limping with for way too long. First foray into "real" audio gear. Overall very happy with it so far. It does what it says it will do and it's no nonsense. The display is especially good for me - amps should be heard, not seen, and the amber + idle display sleep just makes sense. Bluetooth is more than good enough for the devices you'd ever be using with that. I can think of some small improvements they should make, but it's nitpicky stuff.
    The only thing Topping (or anyone, really) should do is maybe make a bigger brother to this product. Maybe better amp + DAC for those who want that, a bit more power to drive more speakers, and DSP/LPF for the sub-out, and a few other minor quality of life things. Something that would be competent either in the loungeroom or at the desk. Just my 2c :)

      Also what about the new E10 from Fosi Audio or the TPA-S120 from Audiophonics, for 200 and 220euros respectively? Much more powerful, internal power supplies, usb, optical, coaxial, sub out, bluetooth, remote. Unfortunately, no headphone out but you can get a decent one for another 40 and you're set...The TPA-S120 especially, has the TPA3255 op amps and an ESS Dac.

    Hello Srbolyub. I really love watching your channel. You are one of those people who know how to correctly describe the sound of the equipment. And I listen to your opinion about the sound of certain devices .
    Now I have a question for you.
    I have 2 amplifiers. One Sansui AU-a607i amplifier (Class AB), the second SMSL AO200 amplifier(Class D). If we compare their sound, the SMSL amplifier plays more flatly. The Sansui amplifier has a wider stage and a much better afterglow. The instruments sound more natural. Otherwise, the SMSL AO200 is a good, not expensive amplifier.
    Now I have noticed an expensive amplifier from SMSL, this is the SA400 model. Judging by the reviews and reviews, it sounds better than the AO200. I know that there was no review of the SA400 model on your channel, but maybe you heard its sound somewhere. Can you advise me whether it is worth buying this model? Does it have an improved sound compared to the AO200 ? I am interested in exactly the parameters that I described: afterglow, naturalness and volume of the scene.
    I wish you all the best in advance, success in your business and excellent sound!!! Thank you.

    The new Fosi Audio E10 integrated at 200euros is at least on paper, a much better amp. Class D of course, internal power supply, 2x125W@4ohm, USB, optical, coaxial, 2pairs of rca, bluetooth and sub out. Unfortunately no headphone out. Same with the Audiophonics TPA-S120 at 220euros, which seems to carry a better DAC.

    A300/200 have more power I use them with an Su-1 which is quite a bargain compared to amplifiers below 1000 dollar.. But the MX3 is attractive for the size, price and integration and the DAC is better than in the A300/200.

    You mentioned the output can be connected to passive speakers. Can I connect it to active powered speaker?

    • @iiWiReviews
      @iiWiReviews  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In that case you don't need an amplifier (active speakers already have it inside) but a DAC only like Topping DX3 pro plus or FX-Audio DR07 that I just reviewed ten days ago. Take a look at those.

    • @anandyahamdi
      @anandyahamdi 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@iiWiReviews What about Topping MX3S BT. I need the output for headphones as well as BT input. I'm new to this hobby, I don't really understand.

    • @iiWiReviews
      @iiWiReviews  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, it's simply the wrong device for active speakers. You get parts that you don't need (yet you still pay for them) and lack something that you need... And you need line level connection (RCA) output for active speakers, headphone out for headphones, and BT... The solution is one of these devices I suggested in the previous post. They have everything you need and their DAC and headphone amp are much better, because no budget was spent on speaker amplifier like in MX3 devices (a part that can't be used with active speakers, because it in them already).

    • @anandyahamdi
      @anandyahamdi 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@iiWiReviews Many thanks for the explanation. My active speaker is HK Soundsticks 4 with only Aux input, so the rca output from DX3pro+ will be connected to the aux input using rca to jack adapter right? The other one is Edifier 1280bts with many options of input. Is the configuration of dx3pro+ with my active speakers will be safe (no damage to the speakers)? I don't really understand, I love the sound quality fron the dac/amp but don't understand how it works.

    • @iiWiReviews
