⁠@@manilkumarac RC stands for ‘release candidate’ and has the exact build number as the public release version of the software. The features, performance and battery are no different from the main public release, only difference is that RCs are available to the beta testers before the main release.
Also, if you try to update from an RC build to the main version (when released), you will not be able to. It just won’t show up.

Apple not allow you to downgrade from device in any way. If you ever want do downgrade, you need a computer🫡

No, I’d wait for the RC. iOS 17 beta 8 still has worse battery life compared to iOS 16.6
Hoping that the RC will improve the battery performance. But if you don’t really care about battery, Beta 8 is pretty stable performance-wise. Minimal bugs, just the occasional frame drop in the UI.

The RC is pretty near so, you could just update to that after it's released for a much more stable experience.
