"Based on True Saga" not "based on true history" lol. And the show is called "Vinland Saga" so it was written as the retelling of the settling of Vinland from perspective of the main characters. But some of the history is "authentic" I believe.

I love the lyrics being incorporated into the AMV. It makes it feel like an actual lyrical video. Far better editing than those tacky videos some people make where they don’t even bother to edit out the show’s subtitles (>.>)

What is up with anime getting the visuals more correct than most western shows? Like, correct helmets, accurate clothing styles, even believable hairstyles for the time. Seriously, the show Vikings didn't get this much right.
