    Thank you for your explanation of each stitch you show, very helpful. You speak and work slow enough for this beginner. Well done!

    Thanks, Jessica! I started practicing the rose last month. Notice I have not shared photos of it lol 🙈. It still needs some work. So glad you made a tutorial on it! You know you’re my favorite embroidery instructor 😊.

    Thank you so much for these videos. I am learning embroidery and these videos have helped me so much. I’m one of those people who learn by seeing the process in action and this channel is perfect. Thanks👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    Hi 😁😁😁🤗I just wanted to Thank You x a Zillion Lovely Soul Jessica for Your tutorials, they have been easy to follow 😁😁😁👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻I can safely & thankfully say that I can do a Chain, French Knot, U & V stitches fairly well, they’re not too shabby! That’s as far as I’ve got though so far! I’ve got 5 more to learn & practice for My Embroidery kit pattern It’s 9 separate hearts & 9 separate stitches! Lots of Practice is definitely key! That’s a good point re the different needles, I noticed that in Hobbycraft when I went to buy a Thimble! I’ve decided to invest in a Hands free overhead Magnifying Glass lenses & detachable light to wear on my head! Happy Embroidering Everyone 🪡🧵

      So glad my tutorials have been helpful! Thinking I'm going to need a magnifying glass pretty soon here, or in the very least some reading glasses.

      @@CutesyCrafts I usually wear Verifocals but they’re not really good enough for doing the Embroidery! I find that threading the needle is quite difficult for Me! I don’t mind investing that money though!! It will make My Life much easier & I can use it on other crafting hobbies that are detailed! 😁😁😁🫶🏻🙏🏻💫👍🏻👍🏻🤟🏻👊🏻Happy Embroidering

    Does it matter what direction you do your wraps in (counterclockwise or clockwise)?
    Thank you for sharing 💜

    • @CutesyCrafts
      @CutesyCrafts  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You will still get a bullion knot either way, but I think it can look a little different depending on which direction you wrap. I honestly don't pay attention to the direction I'm wrapping.

      Here's a link to my beginners page. I talk about supplies and tracing methods. The pen I use is in the tracing methods post. It's called a FriXion pen. cutesycrafts.com/how-to-embroider-for-beginners

    Please tell me what I’m doing that I keep sewing through extra fabric. I have not seen the solution to this. All tutorials show no interference with extra fabric,!!!! Thank you so much. Marian.

    • @CutesyCrafts
      @CutesyCrafts  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm... I'm not really sure what you mean by sewing through extra fabric.

    • @marianmcmullan5874
      @marianmcmullan5874 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cutesy Crafts The fabric that is not in the hoop but in my lap. Holding it up sometimes when my needle is under I accidentally catch the fabric behind the hoop with the needle and don’t realize it. Then, of course, I have to rip it out. I know I sound like an idiot😊

    • @CutesyCrafts
      @CutesyCrafts  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@marianmcmullan5874 Oh, haha! I think I know what you're talking about, and yes, I've done that many times. So annoying! Are you stitching on a large piece of fabric? Maybe you can try a larger hoop? Or maybe try gathering up the extra fabric and flip some of it over the top of the hoop or something? Some people also work on scrolling embroidery frames. I've never used one, but maybe that would help?
