True story: I’m a HVAC installer and got a new helper for the summer, had to remove an old plenum and told him to get my reciprocating saw (Makita). He came back 5 min later and said, “I couldn’t find the saw you wanted but can we use your sawzall.”

They're good for landscapers too. There are times when a pesky tree root gets in the way of your landscape edging. They also really help when digging out bushes or cutting the stumps flush.

@A Concord Carpenter / ToolBoxBuzz. Thanks Rob for your thorough review and take on the new Milwaukee FUEL Sawzall. Milwaukee listened and gave us both a articulating shoe that's also adjustable. Usually I get one and not the other. Thanks for pointing out how there's more overmolding for comfort. Adding stroke length makes for more efficient cuts. We'll see whether the added metal reinforcement for the battery helps over time as people use this new recip saw.
Hope you, your staff, and your families stay safe and well.

I think overall Milwaukee in itself gets better with age.... they have been the best overall power tools on the market for decades and that's dating back to a time before brushless or fuel or any of the other upgrades they have installed....Milwaukee in my opinion and many others continues to just lead the industry with the best power tools on the market... I always state that in my own videos.... now two companies tools I have never used Are Hilti and festool so I don't know how they stack up to Milwaukee...But of all the major tool brands I have used There are none better than Milwaukee... thank you for all the great info can you give on your channel...It is always a pleasure and very informative watching your videos

There is no like the best "its all about personal preference".
Milwaukee has many great tools but also alot of half cooked junk in its lineup.
The future needs to be like Bosch and Metabo building battery Alliances.
Bosch for example gives Fein now there ProCore Tech while the next 18V Fein will run on Core batterys.
The same goes to LED Technology. Brennstuhl and LedLenser are now using 18V tech. Soon Stihl will join.
Do you really think a company like Milwaukee will do a good job of building a trimmer as good as Stihl or a headlamp as good as LedLenser or a Multitool as good as Fein?

Boy this comment aged like milk. In a world where landscapers are going away from gas ya see more milwaukee string trimmers on landscapers trailers than any other. I own it and it's great plus the quick lock system makes it capable of almost anything. As for multi tools yes milwaukee may not have the fancy lever that Dewalt has but you can still change a blade just as fast. Milwaukee pushes innovation and fixes the few mistakes they make. You sure as shit won't find any fein in my work van. Milwaukee created the saw zall and all this time later they're still leading the industry.

I agree that Milwaukee has certainly lead the way in this tool (and has innovated in the 12V realm); however, all manufactures of recip saws have neglected the orbital function on their cordless models. And for Milwaukee this seems like a big lack. I wish I could get the power and orbital action of the super sawzawll and the 4 way shoe from Dewalt. My 2 cents for a perfect recip for demo and heavy work.

I can tell you right now that thing does not hold a candle to Metabo UVP Sawzall. No orbital feature? Try one with that feature, you won't look back. Also can't pick your speed? The hackzall is more useful than the sawzall IMO because it is one handed. Milwaukee makes some killer stuff, but not all their stuff is killer. If you need a demo tool I can guarantee you there is better cordless sawzall options. One big thing I don't like is that it uses a plastic lever, all industrial sawzalls seem to use the twist feature which is not as convenient, but is for sure a wear point or break point using the ABS plastic levers.
