Do you ride your sends or returns when dealing with verb? I would assume you would get the returns at the most verb you would want and then use the bus send to adjust from there, then the DCA when you have it in a pretty good spot. I always assign my bus send to the DCA that way the last thing sang gets rang out and not cut off, you mute the DCA, and when they start speaking it comes across without the effect.
@@collabworship awesome! I see people do it all kinds of different ways, but however it was run on your other video was PERFECT, so I was curious. Thanks!
Is there a reason you don’t feed verb to your kick? I know you wouldn’t want that verb in the sub, but don’t you want your kit to sound like it’s in the same space? If you EQ your verb (hi pass) it would effectively keep that out of the subs no?
we have mix3 going to our livestream. everytime we make an adjustment for in house to sound good, it also effects mix3 livestream. Which we dont want. We want the mix to the livesttream sounding different. Is this possible on this board? To tune mix 3 for our live stream without effecting the sound on the mains for in house?
Its very possible you just need to know how the setup is done. My livestream sound differently from the in house sound, so that whatever changes I make doesn't my Mix for the livestream
@@HOTRJohannesburg now we do have it separate in a sense Volume levels are separate. But that’s about it. But.. if we adjust the gain for livestream, or want to add in a reverb FX to the livestream, the in house gets effected too This is still possible to correct? Man…really need to figure this out lol.
Please, I have a question: When we are in the process of adjusting the sound and distributing the monitor for the concert, and we turn off the jazz until the concert starts, is it necessary to go back to adjusting the sound and the monitors again? Thank you very much.

Yep, we have it set up that way on our X32 at our church, so we would do the same thing if we used the Qu.

Generally, you want your kick to have as tight of a sound as possible. Putting verb on it can make it sound messy.
You should keep the verb off so the kick is pronounced and felt Vs a confusing mix of what am I listening to
Nice video, i would rather use the mute function on the fx send. with that, the fx fades out naturally. on the return it cuts the reverb. ;-)
What! Wait don’t go away. What do you mean
Thank you!

Little confused about what you mean by "distributing the monitor" and "turn off the jazz"
How do i just take the reverb away from a speaking mic
Just don't mix it in to that channel on the effects bus.
Can you take a question?
Sure, what's up?
