There were a lot of people shitting on The Hunt, but I don't think they realized just how much money Roblox and the devs participating made on it. When the event started, I remember the hub having over 300K+ active players, which is absurd. The items sponsored by the event (Korblox Deathwalker, Golden Path, Vault Swordpack, Commando, and many others) had millions of sales as well, which I don't doubt gave them a lot of Robux to exchange.This was literally the perfect event for them, and although most people didn't like it, you can't change the fact that it was a success from the start. Also, another thing that I would like to point out is that people that didn't like the event or just didn't wanna play didn't have to, as they weren't losing out on anything. That is the fun of events after all, even if they can be really mid. Me personally didn't beat the event because it got boring after most quests were just "play the game normally for 15 minutes to get the badge", which can get exhausting quickly, but again, you don't need to play it if you don't want to.
I did the entire thing because I wanted to give my opinion on it but I wanted to make sure I played it so that It wouldn't be misinformation. I did think the event was bad as an event, but I think it was better then nothing because a lot of games like piggy and doors got updated and a lot of games made some really good stuff so its way better then nothing. overall I think its better then metaverse champions and 2020 egg hunt but nothing else.

I got 95 and it wasn't that terrible. You only went through the worst games known to Man, that's why you didn't like it. Games like Arsenal, SCP:RP, RB Battles, Doors and steep steps did a pretty good job.

I’m a 100 Badges player and I still think that this event needs more cooking in the kitchen. Most of them were raw, but there are some stuff that I enjoyed the most. Overall, ROBLOX should take notes for the next event or else it’s going to end up like this one cranked up the difficulty by 100. 😵💫
they need to create an exception and let us get missed items from the first edition if all other future editions are fairly balanced with games and available time and theres no way that the stupid felipe head game actually got that much, except for some premium payouts

It wasn't awful, but I've done the 2020 Easter Egg event and I'm not going through it again. Going to 100 of these games to get an egg is a waste of time.
yeah this event just had too many games and not enough time to complete the challenges (it also seems like the developers were given hardly any time to make the challenges, as most of them are just "play the game" or "do a fetch quest")
Yeah I can agree with agent here. I did egg hunt 2020. It was a grind but i got a ton of eggs for it. but here.... I have to do almost double.... For 6 hats...... most of them don't even fit avatars properly........I stopped after i got the wings... It felt like a chore.
small correction, there was one egg hunt where you had to pay to unlock extra eggs, i think it was like, egg hunt 2010, you were limited on the amount of eggs you could get if you didn't have builders club, but it still sucked so ye
3:06 Actually, in The Hunt, there were a total of 8 games under GameFam; these games are Sonic Speed Sim, Twilight Daycare, Weapon Fighting Sim, Military Tycoon, War Tycoon, Funky Friday, Maple Hospital, and SpongeBob Sim. I find this to be actually insane with how GameFam got this many games into The Hunt with somehow almost no one noticing or bringing attention to it. These spots for games could have gone to other aspiring game devs who need the publicity from an event such as The Hunt, rather than something that already earns thousands a day like SpongeBob Simulator. GameFam isn't the only one with multiple bad games in The Hunt; for example, there are BIG Games with My Restaurant, BIG Paintball 2, and Pet Simulator 99; and OP_Dev with both LumberJack Sim and Pull a Sword, with Arm Wrestle Sim surprisingly being from a different developer despite having the exact same gameplay loop and the exact same GUI. These are just the examples I found after a few minutes of searching; I'm sure there are more. One way Roblox could try to solve this issue is by limiting developers to one game in an event so that the event won't feel like playing the same games over and over. If Roblox had done this for The Hunt, these three would have opened up a total of 10 games that could have gone to small creators with tons of love and passion for their games rather than SpongBob Simulator.
And as much as I love them, Sonar Studios ALSO had two games in The Hunt: Dragon Adventures and Creatures of Sonaria. I remember during Metaverse Champions I got introduced to a REALLY fun little game called Wizard Cats, a top-down battle royale. And then immediately after the event ended the game went dead again. Which is really sad to me because it's really fun and cute
roblox is not promoting aspiring devs.... it's hard to take off and get atleast 100 ppl to play your game and it will be IMPOSSIBLE for roblox to find it they could promote aspiring devs if they would let the devs join the event and not roblox picking devs
most simulators have the same gui because they all use the same developing kit i experienced that first hand when i used to exploit in those free ugc games until i realized they were all a waste of time, even when playing unfairly like i did
Can we stop saying things like "Cut Roblox some slacks this is their first event after 3 years" or "this is the first step in the right direction" ? It is clear as day from the terrible game choices, quality control, the absurd development deadline to the amount of rewards and ESPECIALLY game passes, sale items that this is just Roblox attempting to pull a "MEGAMIND IS BACK! AND YOU'RE WELCOME!". They never actually put an ounce of effort and care into this, only (some of) the developers did Roblox corporates wanted nothing more than MONEY when they were planning this event and worst of all, IT WORKED. They got what they wanted😭
didnt see much of a reason to participate for mid items and a crappy egg, im 18 with a busy school life and i dont have time to play all these games let alone play 95 for a egg hat thats not even good. :/ miss the old egg hunts
thank you for being the part of the people who actually have something called a life because i keep seeing people flexing that they completed the hunt in like no time, which makes me think they're still living in 2020 cause everybody else was still working during the event

I gave up after 12 badges, most of the hunt badges were for boring sim games not wasting time on games where its just "stay in game/do said task for × amount/time
I think that overall the games and quests were fun, but the main downfall was the fact that 95 badges was for only 5 items, and some quests weren't good, and the difference in badge requirement between items was too irregular. Roblox themselves should play and moderate the challenges before-hand, which is what probably let them down the most.
Idk why people are surprised that this wasn’t an egg hunt. They literally said a while ago they won’t do egg hunts anymore because they think it is to related to Christianity and Roblox wants expand into more markets than just ones who celebrate Easter. Another thing is that Roblox does not even need to give us events, yeah that is hard to hear but Roblox does not own us shit. The fact that we even got an event is enough for me to enjoy it because it is a move in the right direction. Edit: making this edit to clarify some things, when I say Roblox doesn’t own us anything, the common response is that we are the ones that made Roblox popular so they kind of do. In reality that is kind of true, it is the developers that made Roblox successful because without them we would not play any games on Roblox. That is why Roblox does dev hunts because it makes the developers happy, the real reason Roblox is successful. If Roblox is going to do events, only expect dev hunts as Roblox tries to keep devs happy and keeping the players happy is only a side positive and not the main reason they host events.

Events are a feature that only a small percentage of the Roblox community even patients in. Roblox could never do events again and Roblox would be fine as long as they keep the devs happy as they are the ones that make Roblox successful.
i dont think the hunt flopped, especially for its real purpose, which was to test the waters for incoming dev hunts. david asked for feedback and even invited users and creators to discuss about it, so although yes the hunt was... underwhelming, it still spelled out good things to come. hopefully there's more quality control next time

5:23 There was in fact one egg hunt where builders club players could get all eggs while non bc players only got 3, then midways through the event non bc players could get 6.
I never liked egg hunts after 2018, because after 2018 they stopped making their own games. they were only using other developers games for the egg hunt. I missed the yolk tales because it was an actual game made for egg hunt.
i straight up never touched it lol, i can't play that amount of games in a span of just a few weeks, and also because i don't like some of the game choices they picked for parcitipating
felipe head game pretty much was just play the game for 12 minutes, considering the average time to beat a level is like 3 minutes, maybe closer to 5 if you die a few times
there has been egg hunts in the past that you have to buy something, 2013 i believe (i could be wrong about the year) you had to either be a member of builders club or buy an egg basket, and if you didn't you could only collect 5 out of the 20+ eggs
I really liked the Hunt and it gave me motivation to sit down and play Roblox again. Although the quality is lower and the dev hunt aspect of it is underwhelming, I can’t deny that certain creators put a lot of effort into their games and made the experience a lot more fun. I also think that something that made the Hunt either fun or horrible was how you chose to play the games. I was strategic with how I played the Hunt, usually doing 1 fun game and after 4-5 meh/bad games between, and while it was boring it never got “too boring.” I think a lot of us forget that previous fun events that Roblox hosted also had these blank moments of boredom, since for gaming it’s easier to remember the highs of events rather than the dull aspects of it.
Used to for events they'd create games (genuinely fun ones at that) and give items for completing them. Those events were really fun. I miss the Christmas event
I hope their "testing the water" because some of the games suck/ unappealing and especially the mobile problem, it's not like most of Roblox players are in mobile
Ngl it was alright, some people couldn't get all 95 badges however atleast roblox listened to their community. If there is smth like the "second edition" then we need the roblox to listen to their community instead them picking the games.However you need to appreciate some games like steep steps, the strongest battlegrounds and doors because the devs from the games use their game mechanic to make something hard and fun to do. But most of the other games just made you play the game normally until you get the badge which was like pet sim 99 because you needed to unlock area 20. But overall with all that being said i rate this event 5/10, good but not bad.
The hunt was mid, I found the bike obby game and arsenal, was the most annoying games out of the 58 that I completed. I had to do the first obby in the bike game in 13 minutes and I could only get to 16. Plus I *think* there was more than just having to do that to complete it.
Stop with this attuide this isnt some small team of people new to making events this a multi billion company there shouldn't be baby steps when the literally made egg hunt 2018 they know exactly what needs to be done but players like you don't wanna call them out demand better tell me how much longer are gonna keep using that excuse of them making good steps but then going 5 steps back

I actually enjoyed the hunt event, it was cool and was my first event. I had fun and gave me a chance to explore more of roblox as a whole. And plus, I like a good challenge.
I never really liked the hunt, it was too much for me, I just basically quit on the 6th day of “the hunt” Like 100 games just for 5 items. Including an egg that is a recolor of the faberge eggs. Some games in the hunt were actually really good, like doors, arsenal, etc. I feel like most of games just take a long time to finish quests while some of them were created by gamefam. (like dude I ain’t gonna waste my time trying to find 30 eggs in a huge map 😭) Although this event is a test but i hope the next one is better. 😐
Ok at this point I'm kinda tired seeing many people talking negatively about the hunt when clearly it's something better than having no event besides we can see what they can do better next time it's just in my opinion I would say mid cuz I'm honestly glad we did get an event and we didn't get much but it's something

Literally the only reason I did this event was for TSBG, as they put a lot of effort into their animations, the reward and more. I’m honestly disappointed that so many people got impatient because the dev slept after not sleeping for 2 days straight. Kids nowadays can’t even wait for a person to take care of themselfs
The few things I wish they'd done better were setting some boudaries for the quests in the games because, for example, having to reach not area 5, not area 10, but up to area 20 in pet sim 99 is beyond insane when you have 99 other games to do, I also wish they'd added more items because if you count up, 7 items (if you're not paying for anything like most ppl didn't) for 95 games is almost 14 (13.57 to be precise) games to complete per item which is just insane
i feel the biggest issues with the hunt were - lack of quality control - wayyy to many badges - not enough rewards to justify the amount of badges - definitely a lack of quality control - devs not getting enough time to make something good
As someone with 95 badges, I was burnt out. Still a fun event, but it was tiring. First of all, Roblox should have better control with their games. Devs need more time is one thing, but Roblox should enforce games to actually do something. We also need a consistant theme. Where do Korblox and Eggs fall into this time travelling theme? I also believe that they should add those daily items to the battle pass, so we get rewards more frequently, rather than waiting through 35 badges with no reward till we're done. One final thing, we need more time and/or less games. I spent most of my free time on spring break doing this event, and thats considering how I was actually doing stuff over that week. Despite all this, it was pretty fun and most of the items look nice.
agents of e.g.g. actually got me through some pretty bad times, as lockdown kind of ruined me. in fact, somehow i managed to get every egg (all 53). it remains one of my most prized achievements in gaming.
funky friday is owned by gamefam now as well, so there was actually 5 gamefam games in the hunt btw. also, I'm one of the people who thought the hunt was amazing, but only because it was the first official roblox event I have officially done. I missed all the other ones because I was too young to know they were going on.
I'm gonna be honest.. my main gripes about the Hunt was the gold track, and the fact that a good few of the games sponsered by The Hunt had cheap titles or clickbait thumbnails in them. It was far too grindy and needed more refinement.. and they really shouldn't have done a battle pass...

Hi! I just want to give my take on the hunt event. When it first came out/ was announced, there was a lot of hype, it sounded like it would be a cool event and I was excited. I was reminded of the Metaverse event, which was a while ago and the first roblox event I had played. When I started playing games for the Hunt it was nice. But I noticed something. Some of the games in the event had age limits on them. Which meant younger players would have less available games. I also noticed several of the games had very high requirements to earn the badges, that were very time consuming, more than I was willing to spend. I was also thoroughly disappointed by the items. There weren't many, they were difficult to get, and many of the items were expensive and not free. In all, I think that the Hunt was okay, the Metaverse event was better, and I think they could have made it more enjoyable by not having so many games and high requirements that most of us don't want to spend so long playing just for a few items that don't look that outstanding.
I played the event for the whole time that it was up but lost steam near the end and personally, I think it's below mid at best. There were some great quests but after going through the good quests, you left with practically nothing.
I enjoyed the event...untill the final 20 badges, as at that point i had managed to play the best games and only had the bottom of the barrel games left. So because of that i felt like it was relatively mid. Though i do like how you made it clear how this was just a "test" event for roblox to see what they need to do, and that david also asked for feedback can only lead to positive outcomes, even though they might be small in comparison to the future events as a whole.
i personally say that more then a quarter of the games were low effort and using the opportunity to make a cheap buck. i thought it was mid due to the prizes latterly not even fitting my avatar so personally a waste of time.
was real disappointed that I had to go through 95 games, most with almost no effort, for some random cool looking accessories. I only ever wanted the wings although gave up after 7 badges. the only one I found fun was DOORS since they made a complete new floor for the event [which ended up a permanent feature] I didnt think the hunt was TOO bad although it was definitely painful
I wanted to throw myself off a bridge doing some of the quests. Especially the fruit battlegrounds or whatever it’s called. Like it doesn’t even tell you what to do and as a new player you’re getting spawn killed by players that have been playing for months.
I can agree with you with the fruit battlegrounds quest since everytime i had to defend myself to theses level 300 fruit users lag spikes came everytime they attacked like bro Also getting level 15 and get a 2 killstreak?? I'm a player with 60 badges, and the other 40 games i had to do made me quit The Hunt entirely lol. Some of the games were just disappointing and honestly i didnt wanna waste time xd
I like the ready player one events where it was still kinda a dev hunt but had only a tiny amount games to explore for awards. Quality instead of quantity.
tbh roblox picked some decent games ( EXEPT SKIBIDI TOILET TOWER DEFENSE WYHYD HE CHOOSE THAT!?) but since people are saying its roblox’s fault the hunt was bad its not really robloxs fault since he didint force what you has to do for every badge the games decided that so its also apart of the community’s fault, we cant always blame roblox for everything like thats just a stupid thing to do.💀

i beat 21 games on the hunt because the time spent on beating some hunt games was absurd, i was lucky enough to beat project smash's hunt pretty quickly in less than 10 minutes but i saw a TON of negativity regarding it, i think too many games were put into the hunt cause it takes sosososoos long to beat the entire game as i said earlier and rewards i got were mid and some games i didn't want to play but had to such as royale high and adopt me i felt embarassed playing them and was happy to finally get out of them once hunt was completed, meanwhile some games are well done such as doors the hunt.

look, the only reason why i hate the hunt event is because it had like 5 ( +1 egg ) items, like its 100 games bro.. atleast give us awards for every 10 games. plus they put many items on sale for this event and like- WHY NOT PUT THEM IN THE HUNT..
I agree that some of the quests being super bad, like obby but youre on a bike you had to reach world4, which if you were on one or two it would probably take forever
I personally LOVED the event due to being able to find so many different games, I played more games in the TWO WEEKS of that event than the last two YEARS of playing roblox.
im ngl most of the games were on the lower tier already, but when there is like 10 simulators and 4 military tycoons/ simulators then thats when I realise its a cash grab. Same with tower defense games. but Tower defense Sim and Arsenal were the only ones who seemingly put in work imo
Pretty late, but you have to remember that the hunt was a test. They tried to make it decent enough but really it was to get feedback so they could make better events in the future
i personally liked it since i didn't focus on getting all of the items/badges or whatever. it was fun to see some of the top roblox games come together and each design a unique challenge, although some were just dumb. the event as a whole was mid but i really enjoyed the challenges for doors, steep steps, spray paint, 3008, and natural disaster survival. (DOORS WAS SO FUN OMG😭😭)
why is everyone hating so much on arsenal?? they cooked so good even if ur bad at fps games they made it eaiser as the enemy doesent notice u sometimes and even put checkpoints arsenal doesn't deserve the hate it got...
There were some decent games in there (like Doors or Arsenal) but I got so tired of all the simulators, obbies and games designed for 8 year olds. I don't regret completing the event, but it was a disappointing experience.
i hate how roblox gave 15 days to beat all 100 games (or 95 games? idk) like, i have never been in a event, well i think i was in the lil nas x event but idk. like im a kid and why would i waste 24 hours to beat a event (like kreek.) atleast next year just make a single game and put like 10-12 eggs for us to find and we get items, not 100 (or 95 games? idk) games.
Honestly i probably would have done more of the Hunt if some of the missions weren’t lazy and just “play this game for 15 minutes” and weren’t games i rather not play Stuff like DOORS was a good time, but stuff like all those simulators really bogged it down for me, hell i never got all the base rewards cause i didn’t like how most missions went
As a person who did 100 on 2 accounts, i can say that i only found doors and RB battles to be memorable, because they curated a unique experience that isnt just "play our game" that was decently fun to play through (honourable mention to that egg dragging one, whilst slightly dull still really creative)
while some of the games were nice to see in the hunt, and were incredibly beginner friendly, there were some games that if you didn’t already know them and weren’t very farmiliar with them, it’d be pretty hard to complete the quest.
Took me 2-3 days to get to 95, then I just gave up because I got the egg and I don’t care about completing all of them, and I must say the event wasn’t good, but it also wasn’t as bad as I thought. Some games sucked I can agree but others like rb battles piggy and doors were kinda cool, I’d probably rate this event a 5/10. There were definitely worse events then this.

It wasn't awful, but I've done the 2020 Easter Egg event and I'm not going through it again. Going to 100 of these games to get an egg is a waste of time.
yeah this event just had too many games and not enough time to complete the challenges (it also seems like the developers were given hardly any time to make the challenges, as most of them are just "play the game" or "do a fetch quest")

Yeah I can agree with agent here. I did egg hunt 2020. It was a grind but i got a ton of eggs for it. but here.... I have to do almost double.... For 6 hats...... most of them don't even fit avatars properly........I stopped after i got the wings... It felt like a chore.

3:06 Actually, in The Hunt, there were a total of 8 games under GameFam; these games are Sonic Speed Sim, Twilight Daycare, Weapon Fighting Sim, Military Tycoon, War Tycoon, Funky Friday, Maple Hospital, and SpongeBob Sim. I find this to be actually insane with how GameFam got this many games into The Hunt with somehow almost no one noticing or bringing attention to it. These spots for games could have gone to other aspiring game devs who need the publicity from an event such as The Hunt, rather than something that already earns thousands a day like SpongeBob Simulator. GameFam isn't the only one with multiple bad games in The Hunt; for example, there are BIG Games with My Restaurant, BIG Paintball 2, and Pet Simulator 99; and OP_Dev with both LumberJack Sim and Pull a Sword, with Arm Wrestle Sim surprisingly being from a different developer despite having the exact same gameplay loop and the exact same GUI. These are just the examples I found after a few minutes of searching; I'm sure there are more. One way Roblox could try to solve this issue is by limiting developers to one game in an event so that the event won't feel like playing the same games over and over. If Roblox had done this for The Hunt, these three would have opened up a total of 10 games that could have gone to small creators with tons of love and passion for their games rather than SpongBob Simulator.

And as much as I love them, Sonar Studios ALSO had two games in The Hunt: Dragon Adventures and Creatures of Sonaria. I remember during Metaverse Champions I got introduced to a REALLY fun little game called Wizard Cats, a top-down battle royale. And then immediately after the event ended the game went dead again. Which is really sad to me because it's really fun and cute

I think that overall the games and quests were fun, but the main downfall was the fact that 95 badges was for only 5 items, and some quests weren't good, and the difference in badge requirement between items was too irregular.
Roblox themselves should play and moderate the challenges before-hand, which is what probably let them down the most.
Idk why people are surprised that this wasn’t an egg hunt. They literally said a while ago they won’t do egg hunts anymore because they think it is to related to Christianity and Roblox wants expand into more markets than just ones who celebrate Easter.
Another thing is that Roblox does not even need to give us events, yeah that is hard to hear but Roblox does not own us shit. The fact that we even got an event is enough for me to enjoy it because it is a move in the right direction.
Edit: making this edit to clarify some things, when I say Roblox doesn’t own us anything, the common response is that we are the ones that made Roblox popular so they kind of do. In reality that is kind of true, it is the developers that made Roblox successful because without them we would not play any games on Roblox. That is why Roblox does dev hunts because it makes the developers happy, the real reason Roblox is successful. If Roblox is going to do events, only expect dev hunts as Roblox tries to keep devs happy and keeping the players happy is only a side positive and not the main reason they host events.

Events are a feature that only a small percentage of the Roblox community even patients in. Roblox could never do events again and Roblox would be fine as long as they keep the devs happy as they are the ones that make Roblox successful.

i dont think the hunt flopped, especially for its real purpose, which was to test the waters for incoming dev hunts. david asked for feedback and even invited users and creators to discuss about it, so although yes the hunt was... underwhelming, it still spelled out good things to come. hopefully there's more quality control next time

I never liked egg hunts after 2018, because after 2018 they stopped making their own games. they were only using other developers games for the egg hunt. I missed the yolk tales because it was an actual game made for egg hunt.
i straight up never touched it lol, i can't play that amount of games in a span of just a few weeks, and also because i don't like some of the game choices they picked for parcitipating
felipe head game pretty much was just play the game for 12 minutes, considering the average time to beat a level is like 3 minutes, maybe closer to 5 if you die a few times
there has been egg hunts in the past that you have to buy something, 2013 i believe (i could be wrong about the year) you had to either be a member of builders club or buy an egg basket, and if you didn't you could only collect 5 out of the 20+ eggs
I really liked the Hunt and it gave me motivation to sit down and play Roblox again. Although the quality is lower and the dev hunt aspect of it is underwhelming, I can’t deny that certain creators put a lot of effort into their games and made the experience a lot more fun. I also think that something that made the Hunt either fun or horrible was how you chose to play the games. I was strategic with how I played the Hunt, usually doing 1 fun game and after 4-5 meh/bad games between, and while it was boring it never got “too boring.” I think a lot of us forget that previous fun events that Roblox hosted also had these blank moments of boredom, since for gaming it’s easier to remember the highs of events rather than the dull aspects of it.
I enjoyed playing the games I have never played before, but a few of the tasks I did for the hunt were literally nightmares to complete.
Used to for events they'd create games (genuinely fun ones at that) and give items for completing them. Those events were really fun. I miss the Christmas event

Ngl it was alright, some people couldn't get all 95 badges however atleast roblox listened to their community. If there is smth like the "second edition" then we need the roblox to listen to their community instead them picking the games.However you need to appreciate some games like steep steps, the strongest battlegrounds and doors because the devs from the games use their game mechanic to make something hard and fun to do. But most of the other games just made you play the game normally until you get the badge which was like pet sim 99 because you needed to unlock area 20. But overall with all that being said i rate this event 5/10, good but not bad.

The hunt was mid, I found the bike obby game and arsenal, was the most annoying games out of the 58 that I completed. I had to do the first obby in the bike game in 13 minutes and I could only get to 16. Plus I *think* there was more than just having to do that to complete it.

I actually enjoyed the hunt event, it was cool and was my first event. I had fun and gave me a chance to explore more of roblox as a whole. And plus, I like a good challenge.

we were hunting one thing, hunting for a reason why THE HUNT isnt just overall terrible.
Literally the only reason I did this event was for TSBG, as they put a lot of effort into their animations, the reward and more. I’m honestly disappointed that so many people got impatient because the dev slept after not sleeping for 2 days straight. Kids nowadays can’t even wait for a person to take care of themselfs
The few things I wish they'd done better were setting some boudaries for the quests in the games because, for example, having to reach not area 5, not area 10, but up to area 20 in pet sim 99 is beyond insane when you have 99 other games to do, I also wish they'd added more items because if you count up, 7 items (if you're not paying for anything like most ppl didn't) for 95 games is almost 14 (13.57 to be precise) games to complete per item which is just insane

As someone with 95 badges, I was burnt out. Still a fun event, but it was tiring. First of all, Roblox should have better control with their games. Devs need more time is one thing, but Roblox should enforce games to actually do something. We also need a consistant theme. Where do Korblox and Eggs fall into this time travelling theme? I also believe that they should add those daily items to the battle pass, so we get rewards more frequently, rather than waiting through 35 badges with no reward till we're done. One final thing, we need more time and/or less games. I spent most of my free time on spring break doing this event, and thats considering how I was actually doing stuff over that week. Despite all this, it was pretty fun and most of the items look nice.
agents of e.g.g. actually got me through some pretty bad times, as lockdown kind of ruined me. in fact, somehow i managed to get every egg (all 53). it remains one of my most prized achievements in gaming.
funky friday is owned by gamefam now as well, so there was actually 5 gamefam games in the hunt btw. also, I'm one of the people who thought the hunt was amazing, but only because it was the first official roblox event I have officially done. I missed all the other ones because I was too young to know they were going on.

I'm gonna be honest.. my main gripes about the Hunt was the gold track, and the fact that a good few of the games sponsered by The Hunt had cheap titles or clickbait thumbnails in them. It was far too grindy and needed more refinement.. and they really shouldn't have done a battle pass...

Hi! I just want to give my take on the hunt event. When it first came out/ was announced, there was a lot of hype, it sounded like it would be a cool event and I was excited. I was reminded of the Metaverse event, which was a while ago and the first roblox event I had played.
When I started playing games for the Hunt it was nice. But I noticed something. Some of the games in the event had age limits on them. Which meant younger players would have less available games. I also noticed several of the games had very high requirements to earn the badges, that were very time consuming, more than I was willing to spend. I was also thoroughly disappointed by the items. There weren't many, they were difficult to get, and many of the items were expensive and not free.
In all, I think that the Hunt was okay, the Metaverse event was better, and I think they could have made it more enjoyable by not having so many games and high requirements that most of us don't want to spend so long playing just for a few items that don't look that outstanding.

I played the event for the whole time that it was up but lost steam near the end and personally, I think it's below mid at best. There were some great quests but after going through the good quests, you left with practically nothing.

Though i do like how you made it clear how this was just a "test" event for roblox to see what they need to do, and that david also asked for feedback can only lead to positive outcomes, even though they might be small in comparison to the future events as a whole.

i personally say that more then a quarter of the games were low effort and using the opportunity to make a cheap buck. i thought it was mid due to the prizes latterly not even fitting my avatar so personally a waste of time.
was real disappointed that I had to go through 95 games, most with almost no effort, for some random cool looking accessories. I only ever wanted the wings although gave up after 7 badges. the only one I found fun was DOORS since they made a complete new floor for the event [which ended up a permanent feature]

I wanted to throw myself off a bridge doing some of the quests. Especially the fruit battlegrounds or whatever it’s called. Like it doesn’t even tell you what to do and as a new player you’re getting spawn killed by players that have been playing for months.

tbh roblox picked some decent games ( EXEPT SKIBIDI TOILET TOWER DEFENSE WYHYD HE CHOOSE THAT!?) but since people are saying its roblox’s fault the hunt was bad its not really robloxs fault since he didint force what you has to do for every badge the games decided that so its also apart of the community’s fault, we cant always blame roblox for everything like thats just a stupid thing to do.💀

i beat 21 games on the hunt because the time spent on beating some hunt games was absurd, i was lucky enough to beat project smash's hunt pretty quickly in less than 10 minutes but i saw a TON of negativity regarding it, i think too many games were put into the hunt cause it takes sosososoos long to beat the entire game as i said earlier and rewards i got were mid and some games i didn't want to play but had to such as royale high and adopt me i felt embarassed playing them and was happy to finally get out of them once hunt was completed, meanwhile some games are well done such as doors the hunt.

I personally LOVED the event due to being able to find so many different games, I played more games in the TWO WEEKS of that event than the last two YEARS of playing roblox.
im ngl most of the games were on the lower tier already, but when there is like 10 simulators and 4 military tycoons/ simulators then thats when I realise its a cash grab. Same with tower defense games. but Tower defense Sim and Arsenal were the only ones who seemingly put in work imo

Pretty late, but you have to remember that the hunt was a test. They tried to make it decent enough but really it was to get feedback so they could make better events in the future
twilight daycare being in the hunt event was the biggest troll roblox ever did
i personally liked it since i didn't focus on getting all of the items/badges or whatever. it was fun to see some of the top roblox games come together and each design a unique challenge, although some were just dumb. the event as a whole was mid but i really enjoyed the challenges for doors, steep steps, spray paint, 3008, and natural disaster survival. (DOORS WAS SO FUN OMG😭😭)

There were some decent games in there (like Doors or Arsenal) but I got so tired of all the simulators, obbies and games designed for 8 year olds. I don't regret completing the event, but it was a disappointing experience.

i hate how roblox gave 15 days to beat all 100 games (or 95 games? idk) like, i have never been in a event, well i think i was in the lil nas x event but idk. like im a kid and why would i waste 24 hours to beat a event (like kreek.) atleast next year just make a single game and put like 10-12 eggs for us to find and we get items, not 100 (or 95 games? idk) games.

As a person who did 100 on 2 accounts, i can say that i only found doors and RB battles to be memorable, because they curated a unique experience that isnt just "play our game" that was decently fun to play through (honourable mention to that egg dragging one, whilst slightly dull still really creative)

Took me 2-3 days to get to 95, then I just gave up because I got the egg and I don’t care about completing all of them, and I must say the event wasn’t good, but it also wasn’t as bad as I thought. Some games sucked I can agree but others like rb battles piggy and doors were kinda cool, I’d probably rate this event a 5/10. There were definitely worse events then this.
The hunt was alright, but I feel like the amount of games is too much for small rewards, I also didn't like the lack of effort on some of the games.
