u needed to sand it before painting. It helps the paint stick. The paint will come off easier. Too late now but just saiyan

Sand, prime, 3 coats of paint and lightly sand between coats lightly then clear coat and if u take ur time it will look rlly good

did you put like a coat or gloss type of thing over the paint job so the paint sticks or did u just let it dry?

You didn't sand down the original plastic or use primer. The paint will most likely come off. The original plastic had a glossy finish, and paint does not stick well over time.

He made alot of mistakes, he needed to scuff the board before he spray painted. But wait theres more, no adhesion was applied.
Hey, I was going to spray paint my hoverboard. do you mind telling me all the steps I have to do? Like I've seen people talk about sanding and I other different terms, I'm not a painter of anything.
+Kevin Mei before you do anything first off, scuff the board. This helps the paint stay on. Following this grab some MASKING tape and a exato knife to mask all the parts you don't want your paint to touch. Now this is optional, it just makes the paint strong/smooth, you can buy some adheasion and apply 1-2 layers of that then your ready to paint
Does it matter what spray paint I use or I have to use the same one he has...
Great video, one word of advice for next time is to use a primer which allows for the paint to bond to the plastic a lot better, also spray a lacquer coat on after to ensure a scratch resistant finish
It's not a fuckin hoverboard, why does everyone call it that. It looks nothing like a hoverboard. It doesn't even deceive you into thinking it hovers.
