I know that there are a lot of people who criticise this series. Luna and Artemis as stuffed animels, the monsters look like they were stolen from Power Rangers and so on. Yet i can't help myself, i will always think of this series as the best adaptation of Sailor Moon. It has the best story and the characters have so much more backround then in the anime. I wished Sailor Moon Crystel would have taken this as an example and work with it. PGSM has great characters and you can understand how they feel. I don't care about special effects, this show is amazing, no matter what others might say :)
Me too. I hate that people nowadays always want the best special effects and if a game or series doesn´t have the money etc. it has to be bad. There are so many lovely stories and i will always prefer storyline over special effects. Never judge a book by its cover, right? :D
BlueButton I heard pgsm was successful in Japan but not in other countries.These were my reasons why we should watch pgsm. 1.They really have a secret identity 2.No crybaby usagi 3.more ships(ami/nephrite,ami/usagi,rei/minako,usagi/mamoru,usagi/minako,makoto/motoki) 4.there are good actors and actresses despite most of them being newbies 5.sailor luna is sooooooo cute(more tha chibiusa) 6.less filler 7.has more development 8.darkury arc 9.the happy ending for final act
I have to agree with both of you (Bluebutton/Stanley) It is the best adaptation overall (besides Sera Myu and the Original Manga) it gave off such a realistic vibe! It is such a beautiful series but people don't care to stay and watch it :/

I hold this song very dear to my heart. It's a beautiful song, but it hurts listening to it. And if you want to know the reason, it's very simple: It's because I had to say goodbye to a very dear character to my heart. That character.... is Minako Aino; Sailor Venus. This series had lots of heartbreaking moments- but this hit even harder, because I loved Sailor Venus as she was MY Sailor Scout growing up. And honestly, I could go on and say the other heart-wrenching scenes, but I'll wait until someone asks.

PGSM is one of the reasons I love Sailor Venus and I loved her storyline for this series.
