Pretty much all of these are the most recent runs. My group of buddies haven't blinded the OB recipes yet so I don't have a photo and I'm out of town, but the OE are the following bottles: LE-52-1D 54.1% PN-8-4H 58.9% TS-85-3Q 57.9% RS-79-5D 61.5% MW-25-2U 57.1%
David hooked it up below. While the recipes are different obviously each bottle of the same recipes would vary as well since they are single barrels. My key takeaway was they were all good and worth a shot if you see them

I agree tho that they're all good! I usually prefer the OE mash bill but the main thing I like in any whiskey is rich flavor and creamy and 4Roses almost always delivers.

@@bourbonbill Justin King, co-owner of King’s Family Distillery, told me that Q yeast is one used by MGP. So, in effect, this OBSQ recipe is similar to a high rye MGP bourbon which is totally my jam!
How do you know which recipe you have? I had one bottle of their single barrel and it was good, but didn’t really hit my particular taste profile well.
It’s on the side of the bottle. But they sell the regular single barrel that’s just 100 proof for 45 bucks or so that’s always I think obsv. To get a single recipe other than that it has to be a barrel strength store pick. The side label will show age and recipe

I had Regular 4 Roses! Absolutely probably the worst bourbon I’ve had so far! I see the single barrel at my store. I almost bought it the other day. But I’m just so timid and picking the product up. I’ll probably do it soon. But it was terrible. So I’ll take your word for the rest of this! :-)👍
Loyd if you see it grab the small batch select it should be around 65. That’s the best of their standard line up even better than the regular 100 proof single barrel. And always grab a single barrel barrel strength but they will be 80 to 100 a bottle. If all you can find is the regular single barrel go for it it will be a lot better than the regular four roses lol

I think you’re wrong on which recipe is used for the standard Four Roses Single Barrel at 50% ABV. I believe those are always OBSV.

I only have 5 of the 10 recipes…so far my favorite is an 11 year OBSQ.
The older ones tend to hit me just right as well. I haven’t had good luck lately finding any my three are getting mighty low haha
