I visited Japan in 2004 and I was surprised to hear this song playing as background music on a network news segment in the evening. I quickly realized the song was on my ipod and felt a sort of vindication. lol
I can't help but think of this song in a news context after that, but it's still as enjoyable as ever. Cheers from the US
