There's some luck involved, but the use of Seeking strategies ( gungeespla.github.io/salmon_learn/ ) and more definitely help. In the case of first wave seeking there's even a bug in the game where a certain gusher can never contain the Goldie (under some circumstances. This changes as the wave progress), which helps increase the chances of finding the Goldie earlier. Yes! Each map has their own strategy for finding the Goldie with the least gushers possible while also avoiding the amount of gushers opened near basket. You can to some degree. You just need to hold the stick in the opposite direction of the hit. It reduces the knockback even more if you're doing this in squid form.

The reason we start on a different gusher than other HT seeking waves is due to a bug where a certain gusher can never contain the goldie, which is the gusher you see me opening at 23:51. This bug only happens on the first wave, it does not happen on wave 2 or wave 3. As such our strategy is adjusted for that on the first wave. The fact we found the goldie on the first guess was just luck. What does LT, NT, and other two letters things mean ? I only know it’s wave informations… and I’m French so the waves name is not the same…
They are as follows:
LT = Low Tide
NT = Normal Tide
And then of course HT for High Tide as well, just in case

How in the world do you get to a level of salmon run like this? My salmon run is just super easy baby stuff with no special rounds like mothership
you have to upgrade your rank to professional first. then you would see special waves like mothership
