    The wipers of my Nissan Juke (2013) just didn’t get into the service position and had to be removed by opening the bonnet to get to them

    On a 2011, instead of pushing up, push towards you like you are squirting juice on the window. This works after the car is turned off.

    Wrong, doesn't work for this way for 2012 Nissan Juke. Correct your title!

    It doesn't show the actual fitting of the wiper blade, it just shows before and after, with the actual fitting edited out

      Really? What about depressing the retaining clip at 0'41"?

    • @markfox1545

      @HaynesManuals - no, really, this is utterly useless. 'Fit the blade' as your man fits the blade in one correctly-orientated quick movement is ridiculous. How about actually showing the movable clip and the correct way it should be facing then SLOWLY slide it on? You're supposed to be showing complete amateurs how to do a job - you failed in that job. Hopeless.

    If you can't get the wipers to the service position, turn the vehicle on, don't start, stalk twice up, they should stop in mid position, then turn the car off

    Rear wiper blade doesn't look anything like the Nissan Juke 2012 that I have. You can't just push it out.

      Thanks - Understood. We can only report what we found on the vehicle in the workshop.

    Service position double flick does not work and neither does turning off the ignition in the middle of a wiper sequence...2012 juke

    • @HaynesManuals
      @HaynesManuals  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The service position function does vary from manufacturer-to-manufacturer. Seems to be most popular on VAG vehicles.

      I found out what actually does work... Turning the ignition on and then off and then pulling the wiper blade lever towards you for at least one second and then letting go.

      Hi, I have a 2012 Juke and have just found out that if you turn engine on, then off, then pull the wiper stalk TOWARD you once, this will put the wipers up into the service position. Hope this helps.
