I can't see Pompey being relegated. Yes they've languished in the bottom 3 for ages looking doomed BUT they were missing key players and have finally got their shit together. I forecast they will get out of the bottom 3 soon and climb the league to decent mid table position. Some teams don't even realise they are in a relagation scrap yet. The league is tight. Pompey to stay up.
As a QPR fan who goes to most games I believe we're in a bit of a false position and will come good by the end of the season, lots of things have been out of Marti's hands but he is a tremendous manager and the best we've had since Warnock. We've had loads of injuries since the start of the season, at the moment we have 5 first teamers out and possibly 2 more as Celar and Paal both went off injured yesterday with Celar's injury looking particularly bad. The whole team is a bit rag tag at the moment with players playing out of position with squad and academy players getting an extended run of games. Despite all of that though we've only lost once in our last 5 which was against Leeds and have kept 3 clean sheets in a row against some good sides and despite many gift wrapped chances failed to beat Watford largely in part due to God being a hornets fan and providing some divine intervention.
QPR will be fine. Well coached and half of the team has been injured most of the season. Only worry is up front...goals are hard to find. Can't rely on 19 year old Kolli all season.
Pompey staying up, particularly if we can get a couple of solid defenders in. Pack is doing alright at the moment considering his lack of experience in centre back but a solid centre back and more championship proven players in general could guarantee safety. PUP
SWFC - Should've beat us yesterday Ben, we deserved nothing. If it was 3 or 4-0, I wouldn't have complained. The pen was a "get out of jail" card and we failed to take it. Bannan is a huge miss and it showed what life will be like when he goes.
Struggle to see a scenario where Cardiff don’t go down. The club is so toxic right now, attendances are dwindling, players giving it to our own fans. Really concerning for us. Taking 70+ days to appoint the interim is a joke we’re in deep trouble. When we go down we’ll be down there for a while. First time I’ve ever been this worried about the club
Well played your team yesterday, young fella. We were lucky to get a point. We're used to players called Potts being absolute gash at S6. Had one ourselves back in the day, lol.
My dad are like the rams in 1982/84 period poor management and to be honest owners who saved us but have to move on for the sake of the club . Except for the Maxwell years and Pickerings early years the clubs is being run like it's a members only club I fear for the club we could end up. Like Bradford city
Honestly, yeah that the relegation is getting intense and any of the bottom six or seven footballing clubs would be in threat to dropped to the bottom three of the standings if they do not pick up massive results, good friends.
As you rightly say, it's becoming increasingly difficult to predict the three sides that are going down. Based on squad and form, at the moment i'll say Plymouth and Oxford are the two favourites, but the third side could be any from 5 or 6 clubs. Hull aren't looking great but have the players to survive. The same goes for QPR. Luton too should be too good to go down but the pressure at Kenilworth Rd must be immense. Pompey are good increasingly good but it could well be a blip. If they get hit by injuries again they'll be bang in trouble. PNE need to win games, not drawing, and they need to get that first win on the road.
I was at the game and we didn’t deserve anything i thought we made Preston look good then they actually were but once we got our goal i thought we actually played well but only thing that was annoying me about Preston was how they kept throwing themselves to ground but we got a draw now we got to get a job done against Blackburn
The first names on our team sheet: Pandur Drameh Hughes Giles (maybe) Alzate Palmer Every other position needs replacing due to Zambrano, Millar and Belloumi out for the season
Cardiff and Plymouth are gone. Cardiff has become a toxic club and it's hard to come back from that and Plymouth have wasted too much of the season with Rooney in charge. The other spot is tough to figure out.. Someone from Derby, Oxford, Stoke, Preston, QPR, Portsmouth or Coventry. I think Hull will get out of it with Selles.
I really thought Pompey were sunk but there is confidence coursing around the place now

Yeah, absolutely. we've had rotten luck and have had to rely on kids and players out of position pretty much all season
Really hope you are relegated, not cuz I hate you but just because it would be a good away day, not many here in league 1
@Footy13s Wouldn't u rather be promoted?
@@nicksyb5920 Ha funny one. We have been under a transfer embargo for 5 years and are 6 months away from extinction. Promotioo is very unlickley
Surely we can't have back-to-back seasons in the Championship with teams "needing" 50+ points to survive.
I'm hoping we (Portsmouth) have finally found our legs since colby bishop has returned from his heart surgery
He’s like our Barry Bannan for Sheffield Wednesday, things seem to click when he’s playing
QPR will be fine. Well coached and half of the team has been injured most of the season. Only worry is up front...goals are hard to find. Can't rely on 19 year old Kolli all season.
Kid from Shepards Bush getting us out of this mess couldn't write it. big Marti for being so resilient
If you flip the table we’re first so whose the real winner?
😆
U make a very valid point
Nah. If you flip it, Lluh is currently top.
Dont worry mate, your in safe hands😢
And If you swap league one and the premier league then we’re in champions league spots. Up the town
At the moment it looks could be 6 teams fighting it out: Argyle, Hull, Portsmouth, Cardiff, Derby, Oxford. But who knows, its still early.
Big win for cov tough game against WBA on weds
Pompey staying up, particularly if we can get a couple of solid defenders in. Pack is doing alright at the moment considering his lack of experience in centre back but a solid centre back and more championship proven players in general could guarantee safety. PUP
Swans fan here. Saw you last week at the 2-2 game. Keep battling like that and you’ll be fine.
I’m a Pompey fan as well
Plymouth, Derby and Oxford going down.
Hopefully
I agree with you on stoke you just never know if they will turn up or not. They are very inconsistent
We were brilliant against Norwich carry on like this and I think we'll get out of it
SWFC - Should've beat us yesterday Ben, we deserved nothing. If it was 3 or 4-0, I wouldn't have complained. The pen was a "get out of jail" card and we failed to take it. Bannan is a huge miss and it showed what life will be like when he goes.

As a cardiff fan i fear relegation for us this season as we simply dont have the quality in the team to climb the table.
Well played your team yesterday, young fella. We were lucky to get a point. We're used to players called Potts being absolute gash at S6. Had one ourselves back in the day, lol.
If we stick with Warne we’re down
We (derby) had 3 or 4 chances to get 9 or so points clear but threw away games and now we are 3 away from the bottom 3

The 3 i think will go down is portsmouth who finish 22nd, 23rd will be Hull city and 24th will be luton town

Sunderland can still go down. My team can make the impossible possible.
Well Argyle have just employed Mike Phelan as No.2. Could be the signing of the year for us. Some players need a kick up their lazy arses.
I have a feeling it will be Hull Plymouth & QPR to fall through the trapdoor I could be wrong but those ae the 3 I worry for most !!!!
Hull av the best gaffer in the league, unfortunately
Im a wednesday fan and that's the worst we have played for a long time i think we are lucky to get a point tbh
derby are shocking
I agree with what you say about Stoke. Awful results and awful performances recently. We have had so many false dawns.
Hopefully QPR and Oxford
qpr are better than there position
The first names on our team sheet:
Pandur
Drameh
Hughes
Giles (maybe)
Alzate
Palmer
Every other position needs replacing due to Zambrano, Millar and Belloumi out for the season
3. Relegated. Oxford. United. Plymouth. And. Hull. City.
Don’t think Hull go down. We will have more money to spend in January than others around us
You could've had yourselves in debt with the fees you spent on loans in January this year and still couldn't get playoffs 😂
Not a chance, you have the best gaffer in the league, unfortunately
@Alex-kq2kwNot a chance, you don't know what you're talking about. Didn't need to do it but that's a different conversation.
I think Hull City, Plymouth and Portsmouth will go down.
Not Hull, they have the best manager in the league
Cardiff and Plymouth are gone. Cardiff has become a toxic club and it's hard to come back from that and Plymouth have wasted too much of the season with Rooney in charge. The other spot is tough to figure out.. Someone from Derby, Oxford, Stoke, Preston, QPR, Portsmouth or Coventry. I think Hull will get out of it with Selles.
Plymouth Oxford relegated, third spot too hard to call
Never underestimate the ability of Plymouth to sack the manager. 😅
Who. Will. Win. Championship. Burnley. Or. Leeds.
Where did QPRs result come from totally unexpected !!! I'll give Hull 3 games or they are gone !!!
At least Ipswich cant godown from the championship this eason anyway!!
Marti Cifuentes >>>>> Pep
I reckon it’ll be Hull / Cardiff, Argyle and Pompey for the drop
Hull and Cardiff staying up tbh.
Hull av best gaffer in the league, their fine
I take this as an absolute win. OUFC aren't in the thumbnail of a Championship relegation centred video.
Not even in the vid 🤯
Ikr, cant beleve their that high up, league wise not position. Atleast Swindon are...
