big difference between soft Starter and vfd is this,,,sof starting doesn't change the speed of motor but vfd have to change the speed 😊😊

Sir...I checked vfd incoming current that's value is 10 amps...but when checked vfd outgoing (motor side) then value shows 30 amps...
That means vfd saving power...but my question is...what phenomenon happen in vfd that's reason outgoing current is greater than incoming current.

In vfd Power in =Power out
At half speed voltage is also half that mins current is high due to voltage low.
