OMG Interview Granny

For over 20 years, Nikki Crosby has been entertaining, from the calypso tents to the theatre stage. She is a talented stage actress, radio personality, live events host, television host and her list of talents in the entertainment industry in Trinidad and Tobago is endless. Nikki is not only very much in the public’s eye but she is loved by the public. Because of her very unaffected presence people connect with her and relate to her natural comedic personality.
This year the soca world had no choice but to sit up and notice as she made a brilliant move. She took her very popular character of ‘Granny’ and created a soca song that poked fun at the entire business of the International Soca Monarch Competition. The song not only won the publics affection for her Granny character but she won third place in this fiercely competitive title in our Carnival.
We had the extreme pleasure to meet up with the brand new Soca Star ‘Granny” for a chat at her favorite spot in Port of Spain, Woodford Square.
