I think one of the most interesting things of this build are the stages of progression the build is in. Episode 1 has rough drafts of the script, rough but playable animations, most interactions have a voice to speech audio track (and even a few actually voice lines), and complete camera angles in areas, especially being a very rough but completely playable version of the game. Then slowly over time the script placeholders become more simplistic, the TTS voice disappears, animations become more rough before it's just poses in areas and then just sliding around, sets become unfinished with missing collision and textures, and it eventually all culminates to small grid cells where you walk five steps to get to the next scene which is just another test cell. Seeing the deconstruction of the whole game as it goes on not only gives interesting insight on how the process of game development goes, but just how much work they had to get done within their time limit.
Really interesting videos! Would be cool to see a slightly later build too from around the Gamescom reveal, I'd imagine even the later episodes would have been slightly more fleshed out by that point.
