But thinking better there's new moves now(or did i discover old moves?), anyways learn all this stuff change a lot in a player mentality... And damage output... A lot! This video is simply amazing

Successfully landing a combo with three crouch cancels is incredibly rewarding, but the consistency problem makes you feel sad there is no way you could hope to regularly implement them in competitive play, unless you are an execution god. Still, great video.
There are cases where I just stick to optimal if I feel it's not worth the risk in dropping it. I usually go for max damage combos in open stages. The staple combo video that I will be releasing sometime soon will focus on optimal combos that do very decent damage.

Not sure if it's max damage also included, but I generally don't recommend or consider them as optimal unless you master the crouch cancel with a 80% success rate. man thanks for these videos its extremely helpful because i cant be labbing characters to figure out optimal combos for them as often ..i didnt even know that our damage got even higher with the cancels ( not consistent with them yet) much appreciated... btw is there a way to get that combo out of counter hit 4 combo consistent the dash in is kinda hard any tips
It's a matter of practicing the micro dash. A majority of these aren't optimal so the next video I do for Leo on optimal/staple combos with inputs will be a video that I think you will benefit the most from. :)

Hi prince fatalis! Im having some trouble on that juggle. That uf+4,f+4,1+2,b+1,4,2(S!). That b+1,4 does not work with xiaoyu, it hits but the combo will reset. But in your video it hits xiaoyu in a combo. I dont knkw ehat to do but i hope you can help me
Yes sir! It does one point less than the highly impractical one which involves a strict iws+3. The other max damage does a point less than this one. It's a shame it doesn't work on ws+2, KNK 3 and df+2 which you can't do b+1,4 since it whiffs when the opponent tech rolls right. It's ridiculous how they haven't fixed this.
I'm struggling with repeating the f+4 after the sidestep to make a crouch cancel. any tips? I am new to Tekken and I want to use Leo as my main character.
if you're new don't go for these combos yet. First master his basics. This youtuber has tutorials on Leo also check out Framewhisperer's tutorial, Scallywag 93 and pepperbeef2spicy. After that go to the link in this videos description to learn the crouch cancel.
E x P it’s legit just a practice thing. It’s like with electrics or micro dashes, it’ll take a while but you’ll get there. The trick is to do it at such a speed such that you don’t even notice the df, u into sidestep. Think of the df, u input like the f,n,df input for electrics then think of f4 or b1,4 as the 2 in electrics. In other words treat the entire input like a just frame where your ability to do it is based on how fast you can get the input out. If you rewatch this video you’ll see that you can barely see him do the dash or the sidestep due the speed that’s why you need to first get used to the 3,2,1 cancel then the b1,4 then f4. Hope this helps. Also try out a different controller like keypad or stick that might help.

The ones that I demonstrated on Ling should work on everyone. The ones where I didn't use Ling doesn't work on small characters like her and Eliza and Lucky Chloe, I think. I'll be doing some additional testing and updating the description on who it works for. Combos with iws+3 are far from optimal and too many cancels takes a big risk so I would say it's best to stick to optimal combos that have very decent wall carry. Optimal combos will be one of my next videos.
Don't worry too much about them. One or two is nice to learn. Learning 3 is just for skill and style, similar to Mishimas with 6 electrics in a row. :)
Hello guys I ve just picked up leo and I was wandering if everyone has any tips on how to get f4 after b 1,4 I am having trouble getting it and it seems it is pretty important.
For some annoying reason, CH db4 into b14 doesn't work on Jack 7. You have to pick up with df1 or immediate standing 4. Found that out the hard way. Thanks a lot, I'm gonna try to incorporate some of this into my combo game, especially KNK 4 1+2. For your staple combos video, will they all be infinite stage combos or would you also factor in wall conversion or floor/balcony break stuff?
Thank you. I will be updating the description with additional notes on consistency and what pickups would work on specific characters. The staple combo video will have easy combos as well as some combos that have very great wall carry and will splat from long distances. In the near future, I might make a wall carry video where I go further into detail on optimizing carry under certain circumstances.
As soon as you do f+4, you can start cancelling by inputting df to go into crouch dash and cancelling by pressing up. It takes some time to get used to it since your hands are going back and forth. I use pad so it's not as impossible as stick players think it is on the controller.
f4, hold df to go into crouchdash. As soon as Leo enters cd, press up, then f4. Pressing up causes you to sidestep, which forces your character into standing. Cancel the sidestep with f4, and voila, you've just crouch cancelled.
I would focus on Leo's optimal combos if you're a beginner in Tekken in general. These combos are very difficult even for pros with years of experience.
For max damage and great wall carry, yeah. I'm hoping they buff the damage for f+4 in the future to 17 damage so that it makes the reward greater in combos. Nerfing b+1's damage to 14 instead to compensate for that would give players a reason to learn the difficult combos.

It's not worth it for optimal combos unless you're trying to go for the uf+2,1 follow-up. The input is d,df,n,3.

If you're off axis, some combos will whiff. f+4 KNK 1+2 tends to be bad if Leo is predominantly on a left axis since a b+1,4 followup will whiff.

You should end all of your combos with FF3 hold down then press 2 for 70 and 80+ damage on all combos.
