    Excellent work. 10 minutes in and all my questions were answered. This sequencer is fantastic! Also kudos for a nice melodic sequence as the example!

    Like the JX-3P that sold you the controls for the synth later, Five12 sells you the outputs later for $400. Smart.

    are the midi outputs dedicated to midi or can they be used to output normal gates/cv as well?

    Say I set the step length to something greater than 8. How can I get the vector to automatically scroll to that next page?

    I found the term ‘part’ confusing as they are parts of the whole in the same way that different notes are part of a chord or a harmony, and not part of a melody: parts all run in parallel. Maybe “voices” might have been a better idea?

    Hi thanks for the video. Very helpful. Not sure i quite understand how the parts work though. I think of each part like an instrument or separate out. But Can you save sequences per part and recall them on the fly so that you can build up a whole set for example to play live?

    Does it send out only unipolar signals or bipolar? :) Looks really cool - just ordered one because of your videos. :)

    Can you trigger the evolve feature with CV? That would be nice for long running generative patches!

    I watched some other videos and thought maybe it's too complex but this video showed me it's really easy to get to grips with as well as having amazing depth. How easy it is to do 16 or 32 steps? I know you don't necessarily need it as you can add a lot of variation without it but still could be handy.

      With the part selected, you'd hit Control and use the encoder to pick a length.

    Thanks a lot it is a great series of tutorial. I have got this sequencer and I found a bug or something else I do not know. When I press Gen button to generate the sequence. It generates 16 steps max, even if my sequence length is 64 steps. Can you please help how to solve this issue ?

    • @ferrycollider
      @ferrycollider  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Each gen algorithm has a fixed length. I dont think theres anything currently you can do to change that.

    Sooo can you do more than 8 step sequences with this??

    • @ferrycollider
      @ferrycollider  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, up to like 64 or something. I think in the next video I show using the page button to jump between 8 steps.

    Is there an arp?

    • @ferrycollider
      @ferrycollider  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't yet seen an automatic arpeggiator. However you can create arps yourself because each track can have a separate clock, so dial in your arp notes to a fast clock.

    It looks like way too much work to use like programming a computer. I want a playable sequencer that has pads for creating on the fly jams and sets. Unfortunately, with exception of WMD Metron, not much else there in Eurorack land for that besides Rene and that leaves much to be desired. That said, it looks way easier to learn and use than other complex Eurorack sequencers like Nerdseq and Eloquencer!

    • @ferrycollider
      @ferrycollider  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's not bad. It can be menu oriented I'd you want, or less if not. Because there's only 9 knobs and buttons there will be some level of that always though. Even Rene2, which I own, has some level of config that is needed. It's hard to escape with hardware sequencers.

      @@ferrycollider mine came yesterday and agree it is very intuitive now that I have tried it and have it in my setup.

      Audio Damage Eos ADM23. It's out of production now and sorta rare, but was basically a port of their Eos VST to eurorack. It wasn't well received because some of the knobs pop when turned, but I agree if you leave the knobs alone, it sounds amazing.
