There is nothing wrong with taking your baby out. I havent mustered the courage yet and I think the ppl leaving such nasty messages need to STFU! If they don't like it they can leave. Enjoy your dolls.
I take mine out all the time,its fun i enjoy myself ,nobody can tell if you have a real baby you just walk on by,maybe you could walk around a park or around the block, just enjoy yourself,
I've tried taking my baby out to the thrift stores and dollar tree and things went well but i was a nervous wreck the second time was easier but I think now that Walmart may be next cause it's bigger and more people so you can kind of mingle better of course more people could bring on more looks i guess.I noticed most people just pass by busily so just keep that in mind. I think standing in the check out makes me most nervous cause people are so close behind you which gives them alot of time check out your baby so just covered the baby more with a blanket and that helped!!! I can understand having a reborn at home if you are suffering from loss or infertility, but it is plain insane if you are normal taking a fake baby through stores. You need a therapist not a fake baby.
As long as it’s not harming anyone, then I don’t see the issue. If this is something she likes then why not let her do what she likes. It’s not harming you nor anyone else.

Some consumers of reborn dolls use them to cope with their grief over a lost child (a memory reborn), or as a portrait doll of a grown child. Others collect reborns as they would regular dolls. These dolls are sometimes played with as if they are an infant. I myself own 4 reborn dolls, I miscarried my second baby. And these reborn dolls help me mentally. Also, I bought one for my Mom who suffers from dementia. The reborn doll I bought her helps her so much. Don’t judge a book by its cover!! Have a great day.
