Don't be rude, people. It's a skin condition that has nothing to do with cleanliness. Keep negative comments to yourself. This person is being very brave to show this to the world. Hopefully, someone else will see it and recognize that they have the same condition. There is treatment and you are not alone. So, keep it positive, folks!🌼🤗🌼
Bro some people in the comments are rude at this person isn't nasty and its not that they don't wash their hair. They prob have a condition called psoriasis so do your research before calling someone nasty for this.
It is a condition where you skin generates the cells too quickly and it "plates" in your scalp in this case. This is a very severe case. My guess is maybe 2 to 3 weeks. If you constantly remove it, your scalp can get sore, inflamed and even infected causing much more problems. Betamethesome scalp lotion should clear it Up...but it is by prescription only. Otc medication does not usually do it.
Here’s an idea. If you have a condition that causes this, why not keep your hair short and make sure you wash and scrub your head everyday. This is just plain gross.
Psoriasis is an imunological issue. The scales develop rapidly and it is usually not curable. Treatment is usually slow and sometimes expensive, depending on where you are from.

What causes this condition and how long does it take foe the skin to build up like that?
It’s could be an autoimmune inflammatory disease that cause an over production of skin cells and sebum in the scalp
