I watched all of that.. absolutely amazing, well done you. This is what 'Fishing' is all about, in nature, in the wilds suffering the elements lol. Glad you got your 50lb er! You had a lotta gear, even a spare brolly, preparing bait weeks before .. not to mention the planning of the trip. A lot of hard work went into this, you deserved the great results. Long sessions like this .. I learn so much, sitting there determined to discover what these fish want. Never fished in France yet but I will in 2025 for first time.. not sure how long yet tho. We would never find anything like this in UK lol, well I haven't ?!
Hi There and thanks for the great reply and i'm glad you liked the video,...Hopefully it inspires you to get out to France next year and give public lake fishing a try, there really is so much out there to explore and you can plan an adventure to suit your experience and what you are comfortable doing, I'm sure that you will create memory's that will last a life time so get out there and do it ....and good luck..
Robbie, thanks so much for your epic video, I have learned a lot from you, mate, particular perseverance, and tweaking approaches or strategies...Greatly appreciated, mate..
Outstanding Rob, thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Quality angling from one of the best anglers I've had the pleasure of fishing with. Tweaking an already good bait in the months leading up to your session into an exceptional one I'm sure made a lot of difference, resulting in more 20kg fish in the five weeks you were there than in your entire angling career. Well done again and roll on next year.
Beautiful video story friend .... just a question, seeing the fish I would like to ask you only one thing .... if you want and if you can, is it a lake with a lot of fishing pressure?
Yes I would say so, and at times the carp can be in a very small section of the lac making it difficult to get on them, certainly paying more attention to bait choice, good bait application and being precise with depth can make of break a session there..
Ok ... is it in the aveyron area? If you don’t want to say it, I can understand you, but if it’s the lake I think, it’s very difficult, a lot of fishing pressure and very old and large carp, it could be among my destinations for late November
well done again rob , doing your own thing in the wilds, am sure well bump into each other one day around there , the hooking in the top lip thing !! id say because your rig has been hanging down the back of a slope maybe

@@eurocarpfishing2334 ive done a little bit ya know 🤣
also kudos for not naming the lake , to many are getting ruined by utube anglers naming the lakes now, and the sheep follow
Nice 1 Rob is Gary still there?
