Pros - looks cool/functional, Cons - screws are super cheap quality and I received screws of incorrect diameter. Please if you buy this, just throw out the whole bag of screws and get better ones that won't strip out easily. I did contact customer service who I told some of the screws were the wrong size, he told me he'd send new brackets cause I might have cross threaded it or maybe there's powder coat on the screws.... I went to Home Depot, bought the correct screws and went on in minutes.
If it's possible can you do a video on how to route the CO ax cable for ACB antenna through AJT Gladiator I understand how to connect it underneath the glove Box but going through the cab and out the back taking apart all the plastics and everything else I'm a little lost on if you could do that for me please thank you
It does have protection on the mounting legs. You add additional protection on your top under the leg mounting points and under the rubber edge trim using 3M paint protection film.
Sorry to hear about the hardware; we would be happy to figure out the issue and replace them if needed. Please contact our customer service team at: www.jcroffroad.com/CTUS.html

What is the recommended torque settings for the bolts in the bracket that mount to the roof rails?
What is the added height of the rack.
with the short rack for the back of the roof, would it be able to hold a kayak safely while traveling on the highway for a few hours?
No, we would recommend much more support than the short rack for that.
Will this scratch a painted hardtop? Does it have any protection for the mount points?

Nice roof rack. The screws don't fit. Now the bracket is stripped. Get better Hardware! Rack quality is good. Nice low profile.
